So much progress in March, we got shingles and started on our HVAC, Plumbing and electric rough ins!

Re post size (especially if you are visual), get front views of the porch with the different size posts… pay your draftsperson, someone on Upwork, etc . It could probably even be photoshopped on to the rest of the front facade. You like things a certain way- get enough data so you can decide. / Those hose bibs are winterized, right?

Those are pipe vents. The corelate with the location of your bathrooms. They vent gases out the house. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If it's just mostly colors, you can always stain it. Still once you have vegetation it will look nice. Maybe add more framing later on

House is beautiful. I think the porch could have a better architectural design to compliment the roof structure. However, I believe once it is completed it should be just as you envisioned it..

Definitely agree about asking about location utilities. We have a well….and I HATE already where it is located…and they just put it in! 🤣🥲

My opinion on the vents is that as long as they aren't visible from the front of the house, they are fine. The front of your house looks so clean! Everybody's backyard has a view of the vents. It's all good.

We had the same complaint with our electrical box. It was accidentally put right in the middle of where a future wall will be at a later date. We’ve been fighting to get it moved. So many things you never think about…. Also, address your vents for your has fireplaces that they will be putting on. Fyi they’re much bigger than the exhaust for the bathrooms. I was so pissed when I pulled up and saw it on my roof!
