A very honest overview, I like your style of not rushing to give your opinion. The bottom element heat output is so low, I'm was not expecting it to make a significant difference. I've also seen a video by Candid Clara where she mentions heat bleed when testing the temperatures when the divider is in the machine. I am a fan of Cosori but I expecting the crisper plates to be ceramic coated for the non sale price of £289 price! I look forward to seeing more of your in-depth videos of this air fryer👍👏

@@missdiva421 Hi lovely 👋 I was actually thinking it would bleed heat I suppose it wouldn't make much difference if you were cooking things that were a similar temperature and I'd say it could bleed flavours also maybe wouldn't be good if doing spicy in one side and cake in the other 🤣 I have to agree it definitely up on the higher price point x

That’s a surprise Lindz! Perhaps try things you’d normally turn like steak/chops/bacon? See if the bottom elements cook the same as the top? In theory food should cook quicker and with minimum or no turning ? Looking forward to more testing of this airfryer. Thank you for showing us!

Hi Lindz, great video hun! I have an air fryer oven (added to the collection a few months back lol), its different but not if that makes sense. It has the bottom and top heating elements, large cooking area, fan is at the top, same set up as your cosori I think. Mine is a Hysapientia though (I wanted a window and a rotisserie)... Anyhoo the bottom elements mean you get evenly distributed heat/cooking so you shouldnt have to turn food items much if at all. Bought mine predominantly for baking bread and cakes. Eg; large Banana bread cooked in 2lb loaf tin at 140°c for 55mins, Sandwich bread loaf in 2lb tin 175°c for 30mins. Its been an absolute game changer for my baking because the smaller size you havent got cold spots, its like cooking in a dutch oven almost. Try cooking chicken to get a better idea of the bottom elements, pies or make your own pizzas maybe Youll soon see the difference, less faffing. They're great. I dont use mine daily but i bake our bread twice a week in it, make pizzas at 240°c in 7mins. I wouldnt be without it. Im looking forward to seeing what culinary delights you do in it in the future. You like baking so i imagine once you get to grips with it you will love it 😊 sorry for the long post 😬

Thank you Lindz for the review, I always enjoy your videos. Maybe there will be a difference between air fry and bake if you bake a bigger cake...I don´t know. Some one said the Dry function is very handy if you need to keep food warm for a bit.

Hi Monica 👋 I've never thought of using the dehydrate for that although a few have suggested it. I think as there's only normally 2 of us I'm yet to need to keep anything warm but always handy to know. I use that function when I'm making homemade chips to dry them out a little also it helps when cooking to get a more even colour rather than the dalmatian look 😂x

Well the first thing I congratulate you on is that you started by showing us the measurements of the trays something that no manufacturer tells us in their information in sales literature and if you are in contact with any of them it is something you could perhaps discuss with them, quarts and liter are volumes not size and a vessel with a 5 inch base would be taller than one with a 6 inch base but an air fryer with a 9 inch span would be the same as another with a 9 inch span. Also why have food manufacturers not cottoned on to the fact that air fryers are very popular but they still sell 9 inch pizza when most drawers are 8 inches and some on dual drawers are 6 inches by 10 inches, not specific sizes just for illustration, perhaps you have contacts with food manufacturers to explain this too. Also with this machine I think Cosori missed out here in that they could have included a a second divider position to give quarter and 3 quarter dividing with the associated crisper plates obviously maybe a pricing policy but much more versatile. Your cup cakes should not have been cooked/baked in the silicon molds as these are poor conductors of heat and give unsatisfactory results in my opinion. Sorry too take up so much of your time but that is what the chat is for, isn't it.
@LindzandLife2 ай бұрын
@@grahamjohnson4702 Hi Graham 👋 As always you have some very valid points there. I'd love to think I had contacts in both design teams and food manufacturing but unfortunately I haven't 😕 I'd love to design a air fryer now with the knowledge I've learnt so far. As for pizza the fresh section in most stores do a really basic 7in ( economy range) that's the best I've found still a little big for some draws 😅 I'm not a fan of anything silicone really for air fryers but they were a handy option for this one x

I am sorry I'm here again but I forgot to say in my previous post that the higher wattage may help to bring temperature up quicker and then go onto tick over thus saving fuel, but you need a graph to prove this point. Or perhaps one of those power usage gadgets.

Hi Lindz that is very like my Instant Vortex Versazone that I was telling you about but mine doesn't have a bottom element,my drawer isn't as wide at 33cm but it's 25cm front to back and 11cm with the crisper tray out and I love it,it's classed as an 8.7 ltr but looks bigger and it's only 1700 watts and also my timer goes up in single digits not 5's.I think Cosori haven't included a thermometer as they will want you to buy their smart thermometer for £80,I know I don't have a bottom element on mine and it doesn't make any difference if I use air fry or bake I just get the same results each time,I love doing my steaks in my air fryer but I do have to turn them half way through but that's fine,I wonder how that would perform and if you would have to turn them,I've seen a few reviews of this machine and yours was the best as nobody else compared the same food product with two different basket setting,brilliant review flower 💕Xx

Be awesome if Cosori copied Duronics idea that they have with theirs in that they offer both the single large drawer with divider but also an additional two single drawers that fit the fryer, giving you many options. Use the single 10l drawer without divider for a big dinner all in one, use the single 10l drawer with divider to give two 5l baskets when cooking two different things on either side, or remove the single 10l drawer altogether and use the provided 2 single 5l drawers in the fryer. This is excellent because actually there are many reasons, many situations to as why two single drawer baskets are far better and more useful than the single 10l drawer with it´s divider in place to give two 5l baskets. So yea hopefully Cosori either release a twinfry with massive 10l basket and divider but also two single 5l drawers like Duronic does, or alternatively for us who already own the twinfry, sell two 5l drawers/baskets that fit this model as an additional extra. 1) If you wish to cook something small and only use one side of this twinfry, it does not matter, you are going to have to wash up, take out and deal with the entire 10l big drawer regardless. 2) If you have something one side you wish to check up on by pulling the basket out and just generally deal with but the other side with what ever is cooking there, you do not wish to disturb. You have no choice, you have to open the entire 10l drawer, losing heat both sides just to deal with the single one side you wanted to. 3) If you wish to shake one side, yea top and bottom heat illiminates the need to do this with almost everything but not everything and that is key, again you cannot just shake that one side with the twinfry, you need to open the entire thing and shake the entire thing. Not an issue most times but if you have delicate fish one side and chips that stick and need shaking, or something else, the fish is going to cause an issue with being able to do that as you need to shake that as well. 4) The large drawer with divider cooking both sides at a different tempreture, gives heat loss, sometimes up to 25 degrees on one side which again is not massive but actually with some things, it can be. There is always heat loss, if you use one side at 200 and one at 140, the 200 will register at around 175 to 185 and the 140 will vary too. With single stand alone drawers, this will never happen. They are some reasons and there are more too that two single drawers are great or even better than the 10l single large drawer with divider but of course it is also great to have the massive single drawer to use for big altogether dinners! So yea, if cosori release the twinfry with an additional two single drawers supplied with it, or two singles that fit it, id buy either like a shot as the twinfry is just an insanely awesome fryer. The only way round it is to buy a stand alone single fryer and own the twinfry too, using mass counter space and not really productive solution, ort use silicone baskets inside to try and avoid having to clean the large 10l drawer when you only use one side, but I do not like them much. Sadly even though duronic offer two single drawers as well as the large 10l drawer with divider, cosmetically/visually the fryer looks horrible, to bold and cheap looking and the brand I do not have trust in or know, but their idea is great for the reasons I said, I think personally anyway Great review, loved it, I have not owned this fryer long but oh my god, it is so sexy and I love it lol

Hello Lindz, we purchased the Ninja Foodi 11 Quart 7-in-1 MegaZone XL FlexBasket Air Fryer a couple of years ago when it first came out we thought it was a great concept with the single super large drawer with a two zone option with the divider, but we found it such a hassle to clean in the sink due to the size of the drawer since you have to wash the whole thing even if used the smaller divided side so we rarely used it.. We no longer use it because of this and we purchased a smaller single drawer fryer that we use all the time. PS..The new fryer has a window and we love that option.

@johnstump24332 ай бұрын
@ We wish we had seen a review like yours, which highlighted the size of the drawer in an actual sink. It definitely would’ve saved us making the wrong decision like we did. When we purchased ours, it was brand new to the market and I only seen it at Costco where we purchased it and there is no reviews whatsoever on it at the time. I will have to say it worked flawless. Just the size was the issue. It would fit in the dishwasher and take up a whole rack but didn’t want to run the dishwasher after every time we used it and we’re a firm believer of washing it out after each use. We’re weird like that.. lol
