Hi Ladybass. I have a question and a comment. I was fishing dropshot in Georgian Bay. To my surprise I landed a 30 inch pike, a 26 inch pike and 2 smallmouth. If I increase the size of my dropshot hook to 1/0 or 2/0 and nose hook a shad or swimbait, will this be good for bigger pike?

A 2/0 dropshot hook, circle hook? If your landing them with the hook you have on now, i wouldnt change too much! With a bigger hook, you may get less bites from fish such as smallmouth (more visible etc), but if you are targeting bigger pike it may be the way to go
