These new rakes should be deployed in Orange & Purple line to increase the frequency at least 12 minutes in normal time and 10 minutes in the peak hours. And also metro starting time and ending time should be changed from 7:00 am. to 9:30 pm.

2 rakes can bring the time to 8 mins in both line .... So I guess 1 is enough for both 1 will b used in noapara dumdum cantonment line but if the trains are to run from kavi subhas to DDC directly 2 new rakes will b required with also 45sec-1min decrease in wait time

I might have seen a Dalian Rake yesterday at Kavi Subhas Metro station during 5.30 PM. May be I am Wrong but the structure was different and it can be dalian

1 Dalian ( the first one) runs in the blue line so not surprising..but it's the Anthony Martial/ Ousmane Dembele of the Metro world, spends more time in the hospital than in the service..and I'm very much sceptical about the new Dalian ones as well

India built metro coaches are short in supply and are full of technical trouble...first batch in 80s came from France and rest were built here but with lot of problems.

Chinese high speed trains (not metro of course ) run at constant speed of over 300km /hr ..our semi bullet train vande bharat runs at intermittent speed of 130km/hr. We have long way to go to compete with china

My question is "Recently government has announced to increase the last metro time to 11:00 pm from Dumdum and Kavi Subhash together at the same time.But they are making us fool.Only one metro is being served after 09:40 Pm that was the time of before last metro.Please make a separate video regarding this.People of Kolkata needs to wait for 1hr and 20 minutes to get the last metro... CRRC metro's have failed badely in LA. CRRC won award for supply metro racks over Hyundai, alstom, Siemens due to low price. They got cheap poor quality metro's, need frequent repair and overhaul.

The Kolkata metro is owned and operated by Indian Railways, and the order was placed in 2015, way before the border/LAC clashes occurred. Not sure why most Bangalore, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Gurgaon, Nagpur, Noida metro coaches are of Chinese origin though.

BEML from Bangalore and Titagarh from Kolkata is supplying and doing wonders. ICF produces some ugly ones. Other foreign firms with factories in India like Alstom is also supplying.

It’s a bad Idea to have so many different types of rolling stock. All lines having same type of train would have reduced maintenance cost. And not sure why we are buying Chinese products. Either manufacture here or get it from any other place where quality and reliability is better.

Eta 2019 e already order kora chilo. 2020 e asar kotha thakleo covid er jonyo aste pareni. Total 13ta train asbe china theke. 2019 sei time e sob vande bharat rakes banate busy chilo that's why. And Chinese Dalian rakes are way better than Indian metro rakes. Dekhteo better, ar medha rake e onek jantrik truti dekha jay. But kotha ache j ei year e notun rake banano start korbe kolkata metro er jonyo.
