This used to be my favourite game in childhood. Back then I had bunch of games and played them randomly as I couldn't remember where I put them. I have played Daves countless times and never managed to finish it.

Hah it's funny now that you mention it. It took me several hours to make a complete run. I wanted to make a perfect run even, but every time there's something that fails. During the play time I even found a new glitch which involves climbing that makes you falling in slow motion every time you jump. I don't know if it was useful or not though. Unfortunately, I could not recreate it again.

yeah, that's one of the flaws of this game. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a solution. Maybe some dos emulator that allows save states.

How could you edit textures ? I tried to add Minecraft textures to game but I got an error : "Unsupported file. Only indexed .png images are supported. [conversion to indexed colors is unsupported (yet)]"

Yeah, there must be some challenge. Not the easiest, but I assume players are familiar with the original. It's doable, if you're enjoying it and keep trying.

Many years ago , my cousin and I were playing and loving this game very much . One day , I took screenshots of game and cropped the items , then I made a "fake level 11 screenshot" with Paint to joke my cousin :) After years , I learned that this game can actually be edited easily thanks to your tutorial video and I am happy about that. Maybe I can make a hacked game some day. I want to ask you a question : How can you edit text of the game ? When you finish a level it says "Excellent!" , but the original game says "Good Work!" . If you help me I'll be satisfied . Have a nice day !

Well, the author of the editor Malvineous is working on an updated web version which can edit text. But it's not out yet. Please ask him when it will be out for public.
