I love the original cool water but not so much the flankers that have followed. I’ve tried the intense, Caribbean summer, and grapefruit and sage but nothing tops the original.

I feel It's such a high bar/unfair standard to act like one could top the O.G cool water. That frag is so iconic and has so much mileage or baggage related to nostalgia and the era it was popular in surrounding it. No other frag by Davidoff will be able to compare. But I guess it's fun to try?

Davidoff Hot Water smells excellent, the only issue with it, it just doesn’t last long. But if I am going out only for dinner, it works

I have both cool water perfumes. I felt cheated when I got the classic coolwater. Coolwater smelled good for 15 mins. After that I did not like the dry down. I think it is about the personal taste

Got to smell it, don't like it, it has an artificial pungent smell in the begining that goes down in intensity in the drydown. I don't see the point in coming out with a scent in 2022 that smells like the same quality of the regular edt, the only difference being that when the edt came out it was a big deal, this will never be that, it's like a remix launched 20 years too late. If this came out in '92... great scent, in 2022... not even at discounters. Just get the Parfum version, the poor man's Sauvage and call it a day, Davidoff has nothing to offer and it's a shame. To not be able to put out something decent... Davidoff should be in the same league with Dunhill, but nope, it is just above those scents you find in the supermarket when you get soap and toothpaste.

Sorry but this fragrance I find absolutely trash. Everybody I know who testet it found it to be really bad and not Mass appealing or whatever . I like you and your Videos actually a lot but.. I really wish you could be more critical to be honest …nobody knows what you really like, because every Fragrance get a positive Review from you . For a Man like you who smelled a ton of fragrances you know for sure that in this case this perfume is not good at all and a many others you reviewed. With your knowledge und taste, you could inform us way better than you do. If something isn’t great or good at all ..tell us und be not afraid . When you recommend every fragrance how do we know what’s actually really worth to test? I hope you don’t get offended by my message but I felt to tell you that because I like your videos a lot .
