Well, for a sandbox experience one can always play a co-op campaign, since like 1212A.D. the scripts won´t work in a MP campaign.

To me nothin is gonna beat Medieval 2 Total War Divide and Conquer but if they do this with scripts and stories and as you said larger settlements it’ll definitely contend with Divide and Conquer to me.

Terminator, have you heard of the Age of the Ring mod for BFME? If you haven't you should definitely give it a try and a shout out. It is an incredibly in depth mod. Plus they could use some exposure as they just announced development of the ROTK campaign. The siege of Helms Deep playthrough is one of my favorite gaming memories.

Hey Terminator. You should do another video why the game coming in 2024 will be huuuge. Pharaoh is only being released to keep us calm and waiting for the next big historical title and the Team responsible for historical titles at CA is on a game since 2019 which we dont know anything about yet. They dont want to release it this year as well, because there are so many things planned for warhammer 3 and dont want to be competition to themselves. Three Kindoms 2 is made by another team CA said, and Pharaoh is from Team Sophia. They recruited Artists for Unreal Engine 5 so it will probably be UE5... and so much more. It will be big and the best total war we have ever seen. You need a video about this!

Atilla is awesome but i think it's not the right game to simulate a LotR campaign, specially when talking about flying creatures like mirkwood bats and eagles, or giant beasts like ents. I feel Troy would be perfect for this

5:00 you dont know how they going to balance these many building slots. So lets be not too optimistic-balancing and getting rid of bugs will be a lot to handle. Dont expect too much... What this mod needs is 10 more years and strict persistence of the devs - or it will end like Ancient Empires.
