The De Ligt speculation isn't anything to be concerned about because United are still in talks with Bayern to sign the player. We have agreed personal terms, the wages aren't an issue, the player wants to come to Manchester United, all we have to do is agree a fee with Bayern and then a here we go is on the horizon. Ugarte is expected to be signed this week apparently but I wouldn't bet on it, PSG are being as stubborn as a mule so it may take a couple of weeks, perhaps all the way until the end of the transfer window.

I have reservations about INEOS and still believe they're doing Glazernomics but right now they're giving me renewed hope in us. I still don't expect us to be top 4 yet but I see us taking little steps back to where we belong. Right now what worries me is that we're unable to get rid of deadwood. We've sold decent players yet still retain McTominay, Maguire and Lindelof which seriously worries me. De Ligt will happen but it has to happen. I don't want us to have to rely on Slabby and Dwindle off. The midfield is a huge concern too. McTominay is staying put and again he's not part of our future. Case must leave. So why don't we swap him for Ugarte!? PSG would love him and could afford his wages.
