It's amazing how foreigners want to visit places which are undergoing development or not so developed parts of India..I too will do the same when i visit Japan and rest of the world..I am tired of watching developed places, i will visit the slums and places with poverty and dirt in all these countries because i know that every country has such places..The only thing is that their media never shows these places only to glorify their countries but we Indians we dont feel ashamed of such places which is why we show every part of our country..

One thing I would like to say Qutub Minar was never a "NEVER A HUNDU TEMPLE". Actually it was not even made by Hindus. Qutab-ud-din Aibak made it in 1193.
@cxssetteman182 Жыл бұрын
It was literally a Temple Complex dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Read about the "Vishnu Stambh" remains, which are still present in the Qutub Minar complex. That is when the Iron Pillar constructed by Chandragupta || I'm not gonna take a guy seriously who can't even type "Hindu" correctly lmao
@sangfroid76 ай бұрын
Qutub Minar was a settlement and the tower is a victory tower. It is written at the entrance that 27 temples were destroyed to make the mosque. The temple complex had Hindu and Jain temples. The pillars, door jamb of the temples were used to build the mosque. Construction of the Qutub Minar "victory tower" in the complex, named after the religious figure Sufi Saint Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, was begun by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, who later became the first Sultan of Delhi of the Mamluk dynasty. The sufi saint's tomb is just a walking distance near the Mehrauli complex. You can see the faces of idols defaced on the pillars because Islam doesn't believe in idol worship

Just a small correction, Qutub Minar wasn’t a Hindu temple. It’s a Minaret, which is Afghani (Islamic) architecture. Most people know the difference between Islamic and Hindu Architecture, never thought anyone would confuse the two. And I hope this was just a slip of tongue because I bet you saw tombs and Islamic symbols all over Qutub Minar during your visit. Unless you were not paying any attention. I don’t know!
