BUG`s:
I have found small bug of this laptop using Logitech Bluetooth mouse Anywhere 2X: as soon as I stopped moving with a mouse the connection was interrupted for the moment. When movement was introduced it was possible to see a lag in response. This is a known issue of EVO platform (power management of BT). It is possible to fix by adjusting a registry value in windows and then restart:

BSOD 3x during 2 days. I had to install new drivers. Now it seems to be stable.
Update July 2021: after SW update I do have BSOD after sleep mode: driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
not everytime. Symptoms: after wake up IR cam does not work, BT mouse does not connect because BT is not available

Finally! How are the speakers? Fan noise? Geekbench 5? Could you do several Cinebench R15 tests in a row and record the results? There's hardly any info on this laptop and i love how it looks.

:-) speakers are very good. I am not used to have such a good speakers in laptop. Fan noise during normal walk not quite but during video editing laud and the outlet is blowing directly to my hand as i use external mouse. One more thing, i have this think for 2 days and already seen 3 bluescreens. I had to update all drivers and now it seems to ne more stable. So far so good. Btw disk speed seq1m 2300 MB/s, write 1785 MB/s

@ yeah, blue screens are common for evo when not updated. that right side outlet is kinda worrying but i figured i could use a separate keyboard in stand mode when using docked. About fan noise, is it high pitched or just wind? i'd love to see geekbench 5/cinebench scores. I returned x1 carbon because of heavy throttling when under load. Thanks!

@@run80s Cinebench R15, Laptop plug in charger. W10 better performance, score 592. Second run set to max performance in w10 and also in Dell Power Manager, score was 744. TDP 28W according to CPUZ OpenGL test on max performance 101.34 fps Geekbench 5 score: Single core: 1573; Multi core: 5917

@ thanks! Kinda weird results. First cine run much lower than second. Geekbench extremely high though. My guess that the cooling solution doesnt keep up with the allowed power profile: high burst power, then throttles

@@run80s cinebench r15 the first run was lower because the profile in windows and dell power manager was not on max performance. For the second run i have change it to max.

Hi, it was a bit better but not resolved till today. I would not buy Dell or Intel laptop anymore.

Great review! Have you experienced any distortion or vibration coming from the speakers? I have an XPS 15 9500 and I'm struggling with that issue (lots of users are). How good is anti-reflective coating on the display? I saw some reflections on it, but maybe it's not a big deal. Thank you

Speakers are ok. IR cam does not work each time i open a lid. Same for fingerprint scanner. Sleep mode does not work always i close the lid. It happened to me several times that laptop was still on. Reflection are there ofcourse but it is acceptable.

Now the SW and stability is much better. It should be like that since beginning. But nowadays the Apple Ipad pro m2 have more power then this dell. So next time I wound not spend so much money for this.

Hi can you please give me some info about battery life? What battery do you have inside? (I mean capacity) and how long can you do on average with the battery? (doing normal things like office : word, browsing web, watching videos) I hope you find time for a small reply.

Hi, battery can last around 8 hrs. Capacity is 60 Wh

Is this worth buying? The memory is not upgradeable

you have to opt it with 32 gb of ram and you are good, but now I have something extra, once per day I see bluescreen - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal / it is always after sleep mode. Sleep mode on this think is disaster, it consume battery, sometimes do not want to go to sleep mode, after wake up the IR camera does not work, bluetooth does not work and then you get bluescreen.

Zaujíma ma výdrž batérie. Aké rozlíšenie má tento konkrétny laptop a aká je výdrž batérie?

Je to qhd, vydrz zatim jeste nevim. Na to budu potrebovat vice casu.

Zatim to vypada na 7 - 8 hodin. Vetsinou youtube, brwosing.

@@michalhanecka4222 nejsem zrovna youtuber co testuje laptopy ale zvazim to. Laptop jsem koupil primo od vyrobce na stránkách dell.de. konfigurqce byla na zakazku a tak jsem cekal na dodani 3 tydny, laptop se odesilal primo z dell tovarny.
