I could never leave the velocity deck. No clumps, no buildup, no double cutting, and beautiful stripes. The only Wright I’d ever trade for would be the ZK but Scag just put the 37 on the 61

Great video Bud. I used a 52 Stander I for about 5 hrs. and I loved every minute of it. Didn't stripe like my Exmark but was simpler to drive and ran through grass like a beast. Excited to see your video Brotato!! Hope all is well 7 Dirty Jersey out!!!!

Thanks Mikey! Yeah this one didn't stripe as nice as my Scag. But definitely cut better in the vast majority of yards. Also real quick question... Would you use the trimmer covers for open trailers? Like the waterproof bags to protect them?

Hi Wyatt. I'm interested in a stander mower. I'm currently using an Exmark Pioneer S series with a 60" deck for my yard(s). I'm curious how these do on hills/ ditches and also how well do they clear when trailering? My Exmark sometimes drags if the trailer isn't perfectly level with the deck raised. Thanks. Here in the Carolina’s scag was the top mower for a long time I like scag a lot but man all I run is Wright stander’s now faster take up less room on the trailer hold a hill a lot better and a lot cheaper to repair and Maintenance I bet you even up switching to Wright and won’t regret it man good luck 👊

Thinking of getting a 52 inch next time I buy another mower. Wanna start getting into bigger properties. Deciding between this and the ZK. Learning towards the ZK currently

I think the zk is way better than this. The only short comings this had, the zk fixed imo

Great video, thank you for sharing. Down here in the Augusta Ga. area I have not seen very many standers, most of the lawn guys use walkers, John Deere, and other riding mowers, How do you feel about riders vers the standing mowers. Do you have any pros and cons for either type of mower. Did you have a good time at GIE. I really want to try to go next year.

I think that standers have enough pros over sit-down to make me continue to buy them. They take up less space (length), are better for your back over time, easier to pick up trash on the fly, etc... But there's still a place for sit down mowers. I think they would be best for companies that just do huge properties

I’m pretty sure you are about an hour north from me so I’m guessing the demo guy was Ken with Kpm?? Kens a great guy, I’ve demoed two mowers with him and ending up buying them both. I also demoed this Wright and the v ride 2 both in 52 after taking on a local cemetery and needing a smaller machine. Tho I haven’t purchased a stander yet I thought the v ride was far superior and is definitely my next purchase

Haha yessir! Ken's the man!😎🙌 And I feel that the Scag felt like a better built mower. However, the wright had a better cut is the various grasses and it didn't clogg like the Scag in wet grass.

Hey bud, we still mow with our Stander X gen1. Probably the beefiest mower I've ever used. We catch all the grass we mow, Ive noticed you let it fly, is that customer preference or your preference?

Honestly, it beats the Scag in most of my grass types. And the deck isn't over baffled so it doesn't clogg as easily

hey, you forgot to mention the John Deere Quiktrak is almost identical to the Wright stander, but at a lower price and much better customer support.

Stiffer control's are awesome for keeping straighter stripes. If you don't use a backpack blower while riding the mower, id leave them stiffer. You'll get use to it and build up the muscles in your hand. My Vride 2 is extremely stiff.

That Kawasaki engine sucks if u go with new mower, go with Kohler or vanguard

I love Kawasaki and Honda engines. But a vanguard would definitely interest me too. Kohlers aren't as reliable. and at the end of the day, that's what matters most to me 🤷
