Great video. I just bought a 16’ flat bottom boat with 20hp motor about 3 weeks ago and this fish finder came on the boat. I live in northern Illinois and have not had the boat out on the water yet so I have not had a chance to play with the fish finder. I don’t fish, I primarily magnet fish and got the boat to step up my game. How do you think this finder would do at finding cars on the bottom rivers and shallower lakes? Awesome video and channel!

Busch Wildlife Conservation Area across the street also does not allow personal boats on its impounded waters but you can rent one for a couple of bucks.

Craig Zobrisky those are at the factory settings. I plan on doing a video on setting it properly. Those settings vary a bit by lake but they are pretty close in general

I really enjoyed the video, how do you get power to your hummingbird? Does it have to be a 12 V battery or can I use like a AA battery pack?

I have a 12v battery box inside the hull that runs the depth finder as well as 2 usb outlets in the boat

No not at all. Just add a quick connect for the power and a transducer arm and should work good

How do you use a boat on a lake at Weldon Springs when their brochures say personal boats are not allowed.

The big battery was for the trolling motor I had a separate one for the depth finder
