With all of the billionaires placed in government positions it is a little concerning. Do you think the average billionaire really cares about the middle class? Or are thy concerned with their own power and money? Are we becoming an oligarchy? How is Russia doing with there system of oligarchy?

Govt is a big corp run by folks that have no experience running a corp. Proven. All these rich folks know how and to do so successfully. That’s how they got rich. Next, the comment implies that career politicians know or care about the middle class. Proven that they don’t, which is natural given that they haven’t had a real job in ages (might as well have a bunch of professors in there) and rich donors are really all they care about. Next, if govt is cleaned out and made more efficient, if reliance on foreign resources are lessened, if more jobs are brought here, if fed taxes are reduced, then inherently it helps all Americans. Finally, by having powerful billionaires in there, the need for power and money and abusing access to confidential info for personal gain is less important given that they’ve made their nut already (see Pelosi’s stock success on one hand vs Elon not taking a salary). I feel safer with our country run by business people, not politicians. Singapore has been doing it for ages.

Donald Trump when he was a Developer would hire Mom and Pop Companies to do work on his buildings and then refuse to pay them. He knew that they would not have the finances to keep going to court to get what he owed them. Every time he would lose a case over payment he would appeal and appeal until they went bankrupt.

@@rosethibault7631 That to is a good point. Rick Scott became rich as a CEO of a health care company that bilked Medicare of millions of dollars while he was the CEO. But really who cares if the voters don't care. But the question is do billionaires have anyone's but their own interests. I don't think this will end good.
