Coming from an Aussie guy, I love point and click/detective games (Sam and Max, Sherlock Holmes, Broken Sword, some Telltale Games, Monkey Island, David Cage games). Saw this game on sale at EB's Christmas Sale and might pick it up now.

if you like twists and turns watch k dramas and movies, watch the call, forgotten i have watched a lot of poirot movies, detective genre is my favorite in movies or gaming or other media, i have played one or two agatha christie games and sherlock holmes games, they feel budget but still satisfying if you like mystery thrillers

I love detective games and really enjoyed the 2006 pc game version of murder on the orient express I just wish we could get some new original cozy detective games.

If you know the book/movie ending, do you know the ending to this? It seems a bit odd to play a murder mystery game when I know who the 'traditional' culprit is, so how do they get around that?

Without spoiling anything, it kind of extends beyond the original plot adding a new mystery to solve, and also adds a new character in the game which changes things slightly and allows for additional kind of gameplay you might not expect. I hope that helps!

Of ALL the Christie mysteries, this is the one where the solution makes you say, "that was lame." Also note that Christie ventures into truly grim, sadistic, nasty material, even beyond just the murders, so she's not for everyone.

I know how it ends :D although perhaps the game does not follow the story. The question with it is - replayablitiy? I've noted that in my puzzle games its fun - once.

It does follow the story but also adds on a bunch of new stuff. I’d say not great replayability, but I don’t think I could name any sort of mystery, detection solving game that would be. Knowing the story kills the fun quite a bit.

@@LamoGaming An on going mystery game that I've been playing is "how to find a single girl" I do not know the rules, and I've been looking for guides online but they all have weird ideas. ;)

I am really annoyed by the pacing and non skippable dialogues. It has a lot of unnecessary repetitive transitions and the puzzles are too easy. I won't recommend this.
