The way I see it, PoT makes fun of The Isle dinosaur releases. My guess is that they plan out dinosaurs that TI will likely release, and when TI announces their development of a new dino, PoT releases that said dinosaur since they have it ready. It's coincidences for poking fun at TI. But my theory could be all wrong 🤷‍♂️

You and me both, I'm shocked the community is not even noticing and saying "backers" asked for this. backers or not, they've done the same thing with sarco and released it out of nowhere, also rushing in gore, bleed, venom and everything else before the isle. At a point I could predict what PoT was bringing into the game, it was pretty funny. Just seems like a marketing tactic to bring this in now.

PoT’s been working on their Cheirus for years lmao, they release stuff when they want to test stuff, and since they added diet system awhile ago, people have been hypothesizing on Cheirus being added soon, and they were right. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were privately testing it weeks before TI even released their concept art of it.

i think they sound plenty unique, but that could just be me! and tbh, think about it, a lot of dinos probably wouldve sounded similar to each other when they were alive. otherwise, its only the demo so it can be improved. for example, they changed the sarco 2 call already :)

There's an issue that everyone is making for some reason. You got the basic idea correct that the primaries would start on the second finger (they wouldn't be full ones like birds like you have but whatever I guess) but they don't just erupt out of the finger. That whole finger should be feathered not just the base. That's not how wings or feathers work. Like we have fossils showing that.

I'm not a fan of bird Dino's but I will say on the positive side that it's a good addition in the sense of it seems to stand out as different or unique to the Dino's already on path of titans from what I've seen and looks like it was designed well. On the negative side though even in this video that is promoting the new Dino it still shows how poor the combat is for the overall game. biting each other repeatedly trying to connect the most hits while the bites pass through the opponent's body with no hold/grapple or animation the same type of fighting system that's on really old Xbox 360 games like Skyrim but even Skyrim had animations for executions. The Devs said before about adding battle damage which could be doing things like ripping off the back plates from a stego, so hopefully that means the combat will be improved at a later date to look more realistic and be more exciting.

You are being euphemistic game from the 90 had better more interactive fightings and functioning collisions systems lolz! It kinda ironic when you think dinosaur games are combat focused game in reality yet all they do is have pseudo fancy "grapfik" and overly exaggerated roaring be it the sound or animations.
