Thank for your honest review Sofia! This whole collection just launched in Canada last week. I didn’t get blushes/highlighters based on the first reviews I saw from Australia and this review confirms my concerns about highlighters. I did get foundation and contour sticks however and I have to say that they are AMAZING!

I have both of these duos & agree with everything you've said. The contour shade is lovely but I do wish the corresponding highlighter was more of a pearl shade rather than gold as it's a bit dark for me & I think it's mismatched. I got 0N in the new stick foundation & it's too light. 1N was too yellow. Dior should expand their shade range for this foundation. The contour stick was lovely but I decided to skip it for now.

I love baked formulas so so much and I agree my favourite is the contour with the golden highlight. Dior has a stick foundation available here in Australia, I can't wait for it to hit the U.S and see all the reviews! I'm hearing good things so far. Praying it's dry skin friendly.

I love the way you describe highlighters. Finally someone who is trying to be precise about the “shimmer/glimmer index”. I’m after a beaming highlighter without any glitter or shimmer, which I guess is not that easy to find. Hope one day you can do a video featuring different highlighters and explaining which highlighter has certain properties and which has others. ❤ thank you! 🙏

They both looked beautiful on you. I especially liked the contour color and highlighter on you, even though you were not as happy with the highlight. I respect your review, however, and when Sofia says glitter that makes me reconsider because of my more mature skin. I just don’t think I need to glow that much. You can work your magic and make anything look good on your eyes! I, too, wish I could see the lavender. I know you tried it and am guessing you liked the golden one better since you indicated the lavender wasn’t as smooth.

gosh the comparisons at the end where soooo helpful! I have the Dior quad & realized I don't need the new highlighter but I do want the contour, so I guess I have to get it. I wish you had one of the peach blushes since who know if/when the Amour will be back. I was gonna buy the regular blush but I wont now. Thanks so much.

Thanks to this video, I learned something. I can't see the difference between the real thing and the fake one, so I just buy the fake one. But if you want to buy it in the future, it is better to invest in the real thing. But now I am still considering buying a fake one within the budget. I think you will like the 257 Dioriviera blush and highlighter duo, It is lovely on my light skin. I wanted the duo that you got but I just thought the blush was too light.

I'm also on a golden highlighter tour and i can say, some, baked gelee or not, are equally glowy yet one would emphasize like crazy and just interrupt that pretty illusion, another would not. It does not come with the territory.

When u said you had to dig your brush in it it made me think of the Chanel Les Beiges blush in Rose Polare. It is not very pigmented and I realize I don’t appreciate those formulas so this a pass for me. ❤

Thank you for saving me $50. I love the blush/highlighter combo but I don't need a glittery highlighter that doesn't blend well. I don't know why Dior insists on making their very cool highlighters glittery, I decluttered the white highlighter for the same reason.

Dior was the first to sell a blush with a matching highlighter before the huge highlighter trend began. Glowing color blush in passion fruit was my holy grail for a long time. Lately I’ve been extremely disappointed by Diors product line the last 5 years. They discontinued the absolute best waterproof eyeliner. The new ones are so bad they got chocked in the trash. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it’s a pass for me. The colors just won’t work. Funny that I just happened to have worn the spring blush delicate rose to work today and I remembered why I liked it so much. It’s a very pretty color that isn’t too flashy and lasts all day. It is definitely dry and not as satisfying in application because of that, but I think it’s my new everyday work blush until I run out.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s a pass for me. I literally buy every release and have for decades now, but I’m so miffed about product quality from these face products that I’m boycotting bad formulas and textures. 😡 This costs way too much to sell this to people. There are better legacy formulas out there from other brands and they cost less. I love color updates, but sacrificing quality is a slap in the face.

As excited as i was at first, i just don't feel like committing to 50% too much shimmer. Dior blushes notoriously come with this pointless type of shimmer that has no benefit yet disturbs a less obvious look. I even like sparkle, but i know this isn't that.

You said the highlighter is a little sparkly whilst using the lavender one and that you’re going to show it later, but you only compared the golden one. Is the lavender highlighter actually sparkly? 🥲

I have 15 Dior blushes about 3 older formula and the rest the new reformulated version I can honestly say I can hardly tell the difference. I personally like the new reformulated versions. (I have the first released reformulated blushes too) the older blushes scored 0-3/100 on safe ingredients in cosmetics but the newer blushes scored 93-100/100 I know not all the newer blushes work for everyone but I would rather sacrifice some product ease of use to have a safer product that doesn’t cause health problems at 30 🥹🥲😔
