I quit reading about four years ago. Sold 90% of my collection this year. I’ve been a 35+ year collector. I knew it was time. No regrets. I still collect silver age Daredevil. Moved on to a different hobby that I really enjoy. I’ve always said do/collect what you love. Enjoy yourself man. Hope life is treating you well.

doing the same only getting to finish my ASM run from 80-600 (only 4 left) then just get more Horror, Romance and War just to fill my collection.

Your frustrations are valid, brother. I hate that comics aren't sold anywhere i go these days. We used to be able to run into a 7-11 to get our fix,now it's a desert.

Great to see you again, sir! It's hard to find modern comics which interest me but there are some independents which do the trick. I agree with you on collecting stuff that has a significance or importance to you. I've been using that as my collecting guideline since the 80s and expendable income, lol! Most of the books in my collection have a story and I don't mean the one between their covers but rather how I got it, where I got it, what was going on in my life when I got, stuff like that so I totally understand where you're coming from. I wish you all the best in your new direction. I've always enjoyed your videos and I look forward to seeing more videos showcasing your future pickups. Best wishes!

Hey Dan, been watching your channel now for years. You introduced me to Zombie Tramp. Thanks for that, and also, WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME??? 😂😂 . All I’m saying is this, buy what you like and do what what you enjoy bro. Take all the breaks you need, and enjoy this hobby for the little joys in life it has to offer. On a side note that crossed mimic cover is one of my favorites too. Love your channel man and I hope to see more of your content in the future

Just now found your channel. The nice thing about comics is there is no wrong way to collect and so many ways to do it. Have fun is the only requirement.

I'm glad there's another sensible individual that feels the same way about the industry as i do. I don't get modern stuff very often. Mostly golden,silver and some 90's craptum age .💩👍💯

Good to see you back. Marvel and DC comics haven't excited me since about 1983. But I've been an indie reader/collector my whole life so I've always had stuff to read.

I am mostly a cover buy collector. Back in the 70s I loved those Bernie Writeson covers when I was a kid and still do to this day! It is nice to know there’s some value to my collection as well.

I love The Witching Hour. It's my favorite late-60s - 70s horror anthology series, along with Chamber of Chills from Marvel. It's the first horror series I ever hunted and completed.
