@@Tproc_4 16 Carnival cruises under our belts and pretty pleased with the experiences, a couple of glitches but nothing real serious. Tried Royal Caribbean this year, not thrilled with it. Also went on a 20 day Princess this year for the first time cruising with them, let’s just say we were bored stiff as the entertainment was mediocre at the best. We had also a Hawaii and a Mexican cruise booked on Princess but we cancelled those and quickly received a refund. so far we have 3 Carnival cruises upcoming. We aren’t young, we are not party party party people or drinkers other than a drink here and there but we are fine with Carnival.

On an Oasis-sized ship it won’t feel that crowded. So long as the areas they frequent are upsized.

Baltimore parking. 2 ways to beat this. 1. Look around for park and sail hotels. They exist. You park for free with 1 night's stay and they take you to the cruise port. 2. Park at the airport and Uber in or take the shuttle.

Best western has a decent park and fly deal, book direct with the hotel. At least they used to have a good price with shuttle and parking included, check with them as well as other hotels close to the port.

Mornin' Doug! We're not Disney cruisers, but even if we were I'm still thinking the new ship is not going to be our "cup of tea". To many people! Hopefully Asian ports of call are equipped to deal with that many people.

I understand the way this ship hold so many people is with very small cabins. It was made for the Asian market… that’s one of the reasons it was sold so cheap, it would be a difficult ship to reposition elsewhere due to the way it was built.

The passenger count was going to be much higher for Dream so I don’t think Disney is leaving the cabin sizes alone.
