Can any Bluetooth microphone be connected to this camera or only the DJ ones? I specifically mean recording my voice from the Cardo motorcycle intercom.

Looks good, but for me the GoPro Raw Audio is a killer feature I don't want to do without. With a simple foam windblocker you can get pretty good 'bike' audio for your footage up to quite some speed (50ish) where all the interesting noises are anyway. It's the simplest one-unit solution for decent all-bike footage. Yes, if you want voice audio and bike video, the Action5 + Mic2 combo is awesome and simple, but I would still prefer to use the GoPro for bike audio and the Mic2 internal recording tucked into the chin bar and mixed in in post because the Mic2 is made to isolate voice audio and doesn't make a great job of bike/ambient recording.

Sounds great with all these high performance stuff, need to test this for tropical climate where normal temperature is way high than what you see in your country and see how much hot it gets.

Ive had an action 4 on my bike in Vietnam regularly recording for 40 minutes plus at 4K 50fps never had a problem. Just bought the action 5, based on the specs it should do better.

You would be better off with an Insta360 X4 360-camera which supports reframing in post than 2 action cameras

That’s a question that stumps me , you see the you tubers vaguely mention eBay or Amazon adaptors ect for the DJI mount , even the offical DJi website aren’t exactly forthcoming on how to mount the camera to a road helmet , as opposed to motocross helmets.

I really wish they would listen to their customers more. Please include being able to pair to Cardo / Sena via bluetooth in the next firmware upgrade, you'd clean up in the motovlogging world. I think Insta will be the first to do this, they seem to listen to the users more.

Thanks. What about the downs of the Osmo 5 Pro? Like the image jitter with low exposition ( there are a bunch of videos on KZbin showing that), the image quality and bit rate being poorer than the Osmo 4? Is it true that when you press record, the DJI Mic2 starts to record internally instantly? Also another question ... is the magnetic clip enough strong to not loose the camera on a bumpy road?

If the clip is the same as the Action4... The magnetic clip alone isn't strong enough. It operates in combination with a pair of push-in 'claw' clips either end of the magnetic bar. The magnetic bar just makes it easier to attach the camera one-handed. It's strong enough to stop it dropping off while you locate and activate the clips. You might be able to 'put it' in place and it hang there magnetically while you change your hand grip to push it into the clips. I always end up giving is a wiggle after you hear/feel it clip into place just to be sure the physical clips engaged properly and it isn't just hanging there on the magnet waiting to be knocked off...

This camera has one major flaw. You still can’t connect it via Bluetooth to a Cardo Intercom. Instead you need to put another mic inside the helmet or 2 mics inside the helmet if you also want to record your fellow riders communication.

Wide Field of View (FOV) is not always a good thing unless you are trying to record yourself and or bike controls. Wide FOV flattens and removes scenery detail, subjects such as fellow riders and any other landmarks will look distant and not what your eyes see. Very action camera like which is fine for Vlogging but not much else.

Yeah I've never been tempted to use the lens mod on the GoPro. The widest base FOV on the GoPro is more than enough for motovlogging (in fact, as you say, too much).

How can the 5 Pro have a lower recording bitrare compared to the 4? This is absurd. Users should be given the option of selecting a higher bitrate setting at the expense of lower battery life and higher heat output. DJI must add this to a firmware update. The bitrate is too low on the 5 Pro.

Please comment on DJI's pathetic max bitrate of 100 Mbps. That is the highest bitrate of all video modes, i.e., 4k 120 4:3. This bitrate is worse than the 4. Would appreciate a high bitrate option.
