If you read the fine print, import fees for the USA is 27.6%. That makes it $16,332 + shipping costs. Googled other sources and haven't found it less. Do you have another source?

I think something you missed is bitmains price does not include import tax 2.6% and tariffs. The import tariff from china is like 25%! When you do the math the "middle men" are seemingly just acting as importers making a pretty small percentage as profit. Either way that price is a hard pill to swallow especially 5 months before release!

why not just do a 50 amp breaker and a 6 gage wire? then you can run two miners with one 240v circuit.

Update seems you could run maximum of three off this setup. You need a 50amp pdu and 3 phase circuit to a 50 amp breaker. Use 6/3 wiring. I could only find PDU with 6 outlets thus the three miner capacity. (3000 watt per miner)

Without regulation, manufacturers like Bitmain can do whatever they want. If you think November is the date this miner is available, I've got a bridge to sell you. Bitmain can "burn in" their ASIC miners for as long as they like and sell the units as new. There is no way for anyone to tell how long the units were powered on before being sold.

The price is too high to risk the ROI if LTC or scrypt coins dont get much higher. you would be better off buying 11k worth of coins at this price.
