The fig! The fig, fig, fig. That is what makes this fragrance unique and why I like it. The pimento helps too. This is an underrated frag in my opinion. Reminds me of the debut of Creed Viking following Aventus and its effect on expectations. K follows The One. But I think K EDP compares favorably with the One EDP. The One is a great, smooth date-night scent and overshadows K in that niche. But K is a better everyday signature scent in my opinion. And I love fig/date scents like this and John Varvatos original.

The edt does smell pretty unique to me. I got a sample but I never really had a time that it seemed good to wear. It’s a nice scent, but not something I would want to wear as a fragrance.

I was excited for this release as well, but when I put it to my nose from fresh spray to dry down the only note detectable was coconut. I am very disappointed with this fragrance released

Interesting review! I love this one. Bought the big bottle and already put a fair dent in it. If you're tired of blue fragrances, then I think this one is worth a try. I get a tropical/Mediterranean feel out of this one. But on the "woody" side not the "aquatic" side. And I mainly get the note of fig. I do disagree on the synthetic feel you get from it. I think it smells very smooth and natural. It may even be the most natural smelling fragrance I own lol. Because of that though, it is more muted and projection/performance is low. Best release of 2020 to me that I've smelled so far. This will be fantastic at discounter prices.

I own Intenso, Light Blue Intense, The One and K, all of them have are labeled as Eau de Parfum, but none of them lasts very long, all of them become a skin scent after 4-6 hours. D&G should do something about the performance of their scents.

If u use at least a few sprays I promise you people can smell u longer than 4 hours u may have gone nose blind but it’s still pumping trust. Especially If I spray directly on clothes it’s there until it gets washed 100%

Eau de parfum is more often than not a much more synthetic but stronger version of eau de toilette. They may be a bit harsh on the nose when you get too close after the first spray but they tend to stick with you and project for way longer. Honestly it just depends on the fragrance. For example 1 million edt is better in my opinion but sauvage is more on the edp side for optimal effects.
