I hope that you all enjoyed these new Tumbling Tower Block Creations today!! Don't forget to let me know how you would use these in your space in the comments :)

Everything is beautiful! I'm glad I stocked up on tumbling towers back in Dec, I haven't seen them anywhere since! Do you buy them online or are you just lucky? 😂 I've been looking at those planters and wanting to make some, these are perfect! I can't wait to get started on them!
@sherriwolfe86163 жыл бұрын
Your videos are perfect, gives us direction, and the final look, without having to watch you glue every block . Love your videos. My favorite is the shelf. I recreate your DIY's more than anyone else's. So useful and gorgeous. I have made your bench and wagon.

How much do you buy a box of blocks? I ordered and they are expensive!
@treejohn013 жыл бұрын
@@pretty-eyes if they are from the Dollar Tree then it should be $1.00 per box if ordering online you have to buy a minimum of 24 or 36 .... and ship to store for free shipping. At the time of pickup, you can do a return on the boxes you don’t want. ( depending on DTREE, some may only let you do an exchange). That’s my experience anyhow.

I just got 10 premiere videos posted and you're the only one that's original enough to do something different because everyone else was doing 4th of July or Memorial Day crafts, but you're doing Jenga blocks (wood crafts) and being yourself. You're not trying to follow along with everyone else and I love it please keep that up. Stay Unique!

I just went back to this again and it gives me ideas! Thank you! Before I had seen this video again after 4 months later, I actually repainted my welcome fall sign that I got from the store 17 years ago that's been hanging on my apartment door since I moved in. I colored the maple leaves a orange and also red color and it just pops better and I also destressed the sign more too. It looks ok but I hope to try this sometime when I get that craft wood staff. I already have wood oil in summer oak but not the same again as yours. I've been looking online for oak stains since I don't want to go too dark like yours but I love it! ❤️

@patriciacouch72143 жыл бұрын
I made the block display case and put some eucalyptus inside. I mixed up and used a regular size block for the legs because I was thinking of a different project. I came back on to compare and realized you used the little blocks. Mine still looks cute though. For some reason the hot glue does not work for me. I used gorilla wood glue and it took me ALOT longer then it took you. Also I could only make one because I've been to so many different dollar stores and all the tumbling blocks are sold out. 😔 Now I'm going to make the next project on this video. They are so cute.
@SheSoCraftDee3 жыл бұрын
Usually regular wood glue takes a bit longer to set, but it does end up much stronger in the end :) Be sure to check online at Dollar Tree for the blocks. You can order online and have the order ship to your local store or directly to your home. You can order less than a full case too!
@saramurphy083 жыл бұрын
So fun!! How do you stain your blocks? Is there any tips or tricks?
@SheSoCraftDee3 жыл бұрын
I put on a Netflix movie and have at it! I can stain about 6 boxes in one movie sitting :) I don't stain the ends until I use them, buy if you don't mind that, you can place them in a bag and shake with some stain.

@nightdispatchmg53683 жыл бұрын
So I actually just started making a lot of little sets with the building blocks from dollar tree. I was just wondering if there is a reason why you don't stain the ends of the blocks before putting everything together? I am asking because I don't know if there is something in the stain that makes the hot glue not hold the way it would to the natural wood? Thank you and I love watching your videos and your style. Too cute =)
@SheSoCraftDee3 жыл бұрын
I like to leave the ends unstained because they bond better together as raw wood when connected end to end. The oils in the stain may weaken the connection, and since it is such a small bonding area, I wanted to keep is natural for maximum adhesion capability.

I love all of your DIY’s. I have tried making several of them. I use gorilla hot glue sticks and I have a sure binder glue gun that has high heat. My problem is my tumbling tower blocks always come apart. I don’t get it. Maybe you can tell me what I’m doing wrong. Also do you stain your blocks one by one?
@SheSoCraftDee3 жыл бұрын
I stain one by one, watching a movie while working. Goes pretty quickly! Be sure to squeeze the blocks together as you work, use a straight edge and flip the blocks as you work. I am hoping this helps!
