I would have cut out scissors , crayon paint palette, paint brush, heart and crafting type items 0:15 and 3D them or just cut them with your Cricut and spray with a bottle in different colors including your letters! This was and awesome idea you sparked!!!

You were asking what we would do different on the craft room sign. I would have painted over the letters, to have a background color first, splattered, and then remove the letters. Hope this helps ... in case you want to make another lol. 😁

Hey, cute crafts! Love the way u did ur last sign. The original black letters were getting too covered up w/the paint spatter. I like that u put fresh black lettering over the top. I would find some fun wood (mdf) cut outs, paint them the colors u used in the spatter & attatch those around the frame. Gotta tell u...I watch many different crafters on KZbin. U & a gal named Brenda on Rustic and Lace r my favorites!! Keep it up.❤

I could see the craft room show in white. I would have outlined it. That way you had the letters white and all the paint colors with a little black outlining. But everything came out great.

When showing your etching if you put a piece of tissue paper down in the vase it'll show the camera better the etching that you have done make sure it's colored tissue paper

Design space is the software that sends designs to the Cricut. There are some free designs (or you can use free ones from places like creative fabrica and upload them) or you can pay a monthly subscription to access designs that are available through cricut.

This can also be solved by getting foam or styrofoam and cutting them into squares and covering with fabric to hang on the walls or ceiling to absorb sound

These are all so beautiful! I bought the cricut maker 3 right before I got very sick & required several big surgeries. I'm better and just had cataract surgery in both eyes. I'm in process of setting up my craft space now. I'm so looking forward to learning my cricut maker & Joy and creating some awesome gifts for this Christmas.

I have the Cricuit Joy and I still do not know how to use it. They don't give you a booklet with these machines. I would never buy another one of there machines

I agree with you. I don’t have the Joy, but I have the Explorer 2 and still know nothing when it comes to making projects. I can make basic, boring things, but nothing like I’ve seen these creators do AND cricut design space is VERY difficult to navigate and their functions to edit are not top of the line. Take for instance turning an image into something to cut, removing the background and the utility ‘tools’ you’re given to use can take HOURS to use to clean up an imagine. Just not practical if you ask me. As for what the lady commented to you, there are a ton of videos to watch, but who wants to sit and watch hours and hours of videos to learn a machine that you spent hundreds of dollars on?!?! NOT ME! Their software, cricut design space, editing tools, and all the functions within should absolutely be more user friendly from the very beginning….

Love all your DIY dupes and crafts. You asked about the sign: maybe use your vinyl letters in pink on a white background and do the splattering. The black is nice too, but, if I were doing it for my (6) grandkids, one of them , a boy, I would probably do pink graduating to a light blue or vice versa You could do the pink in the ombré effect. Just a thought. I love all your crafts, so anything you do, I know I ‘m going to love it. . Tfs. God Bless. 🤗

Awesome projects Katelyn. I love the mom’s kitchen sign. I still use my Cricut machine that uses the cartridges. I have a ton of cartridges. I’ve had it for 15 years and it’s still a workhorse. I’ve often thought about getting a new one to use with the internet, but I’m not sure I would understand how to use Design Space. I’m old school and not real tech savvy.
