Do you think so much Christmas stuff is left over this year bc everything is more costly at Dollar Tree now and people can price compare elsewhere ? I found that quite a few Christmas things were cheaper this year at Dollarama

Great question! I’m going to pin this to see if others share their thoughts. In the past 10 years, I’ve never seen Dollar Tree with this many leftover Christmas items after the holiday.

​@VanessaVendetti i definitely restrained myself this year! I had so much stuff from previous years u didn't get much. This no buy 2025 trend is definitely taking off it seems. People are definitely being more frugal. And now with the price hikes it should be interesting to see. But I tok have never seen so much leftover after a holiday at our stores either

Tons of stuff left over here! Never seen so much left after Christmas in all stores. A staff member at Marshall's told me a few days ago that sone of their Christmas stock is still arriving now and going straight to clearance because it was held up getting delivered before Christmas. Apparently other stores had the same issue! As far as dollar tree I noticed after they upped the price a few years ago the quality and value declined and a ton of stuff I used to buy there I get much cheaper elsewhere. I rarely get any crafts there now after so many things I always bought there became flimsy, bad quality and/or shrinking sizes making for a poor value choice. When hobby lobby starts beating the value of dollar tree, it's no longer a deal for me and that's where we got to by this year.

Wow alot of left over christmas stuff. Are people cutting back or did dollar tree not put out the stock due to their employee shortage. Cute Valentines stuff. But I'm being very selective, and a tigher budget. I have so much stuff! Time to decluitter.

Thanks for your concern! I’m mindful about not creating unnecessary waste. I don’t throw things away-instead, I repurpose, reuse, or donate items I no longer need. Dollar Tree has great affordable options, and I love sharing ideas for decorating or celebrating on a budget with everyone.
