That's so cool, I'd love to meet her!! She's said in interviews she has developed a unique combination of products and scents that make up her signature scent and that this perfume is the essence of that. I'd totally believe it!

I purchased this and for me too sweet. I love Dolly Parton. She's a very loving and giving person and wished this was for me. It has a very light fragrance and probably best on younger ladies. Sorry.

@@ChrissyLove i just bought it last night and wore it up til now. I'm all about the drydown. It does reminds me of a grama bt it's not the bottom of the vanity bottle thats collecting dust grama smell, iykwim.. It does have a comforting smell and thats what makes me think of the love and care of my grandma. I enjoy it on its own and as a plus, it brings much needed depth as a layering base for some of my fragrances I've gotten slightly bored of. It smells better to me than many designer fragrances I've tried in store that people hype up and it lasts long enough for me to still smell it from overnight. Again, the dry down is whiff worthy. Kind of reminds me of sjp lovely but that one doesn't quite evolve the way this one does nor does the smell settle into the feeling of curling up in a weighted blanket on a peaceful day off. Nice all around. Wasn't sure at first but I still have yet to play with it more. It's a yes so far!

I bought the parfum on HSN. Will somebody else who bought it please help me out with the cap situation. Does the cap pull off? Does it twist off? Is there something else I don't know? I really want to open it. I just can't figure it out.

According to its opening instructions on the third slide/pic for it on HSN says: 1) Grasp bottle 2) Grasp with thumb at base of butterfly and fingers on the back of the dome 3) Squeeze, twist and pull cap up and off

Personally it gives me "sweet, not smelly, grandma" vibes so I guess I'd say older but it's pretty sweet so with the right chemistry I think anyone really can pull it off.
