The boba in that ice coffee are actually traditional boba and are made from tapioca. They are definitely an acquired taste. The kind that pop are actually popping pearls, but often are called popping boba.

I also had a special adventure. I enjoyed Dollywood Saturday June 15th. Went on Big Bear Mountain Roller Coaster. Saw fireworks and laser light drone show etc. Had fun! Then I awakened Sunday morning at 5:30. Called 911. I had a heart attack. I was able to identify it on the monitor, ST elevation. Special helicopter ride from Sevierville to Knoxville. Saw the huge UT Trauma Center from the helicopter window. Remember no more. Two stents later with a great ejection fraction, professional skilled people saved my life. Returned to Charlottesville, Virginia yesterday evening. I can only share my adventure by text. I love Tennessee and Dollywood. Love you guys for videoing the area. Going to UVa tomorrow to get a cardiologist setup!

Hey Ryan! I loved that BBQ Sammy too! And I agree that the chow chow was delicious on it. Loved Micah’s input too!! Next time we go we will try the okra skillet, yours looked yummy! We also had the pizza, it was just meh…we felt like it needed a marinara dipping sauce. The bean nachos were yummy too! We still have 2 tastings left to use for next time. Great video! I had the Sausage dog with peppers and onions the other day and it was good and also filling. The small garlic taste on the Mac and Cheese pizza really helped the taste of the pizza for me. My husband joked that it was like eating bread on bread.

I just got back from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge yesterday. Spent the entire week down there. Love every moment, love the amazing views. Was hoping to run into you somewhere in the area 😂. We ended up buying a pass for taste of America, not too bad of a deal. The lobster roll was probably the best option to choose from. I know this is off topic but, what are some family friendly cities/towns near the Smoky’s where we can still do a short drive to the area?

You should go and check out a new pop shop in Alcoa Tennessee. It’s called Swig. Not only get a dirty Dr Pepper but get their pretzels. On Thursdays you get $1 refills with your own clean cup or mug. Beignets and pizza pretzels

We plan to do guides for every new Dollywood festival as soon as we can after they begin! Opening day for this years Harvest festival is Sept. 9, so we will get up new videos giving tips for it as soon as we can thereafter.

Can I ask, have you only had the juice filled popping boba before? Because the rubbery black tapioca ones are the usual kind that I expect as standard when I order a boba drink. Usually the flavored bobas, or jellies, or puddings are specialty / extra. The standard boba are more of a texture element, and they don't really have a flavor.

Awesome, we are excited for you! Crowds haven't been that bad so far as compared to last summer IMO. There will still be lines so if you get a timesaver, you would guarantee more rides throughout the day.

@@k6outdoors It's kind of like being a meteorologist, it's ultimately a prediction and would hate to steer you in the wrong direction. If you get the premium and end up not needing it would be a better problem then not getting it and wished you did if you have the $ to spare. Just my $0.02.

Hey Jeff, they only sell a limited number of them for a limited time when passes go on sale for the next season. They are no longer available for this season.

AMEN! on saying grace and I believe I saw all of 4 little pieces of bacon on that McDonald's hamburger sized pizza. 😕 I know it's a theme park and prices for things are WAY over inflated but $12 for that teeny tiny pizza is nuts IMO. Even the size of that funnel cake is a bit absurd. But I suppose for what the cost of the tasting pass is compared to what you were able to get with it, it's not so bad. Considering the cost of food those passes are definitely worth the $40

The pizza didn't make the top of the list for us, we would prefer to get the BBQ sandwich, nachos or okra skillet. We hope it helps other families save time & money at Dollywood this summer determining what is best for them!

Thank you for showing us the food that is available at Dollywood. Are you able to bring food into the park? My family wouldn't get any of the food that you tried. It is pretty sad when they offer a special pizza with macaroni and cheese with bacon and they skimp on the speciall items on the pizza is very sad. That turns me right off. They’re probably the traditional tapioca boba which are chewy. I prefer them over the popping fruit “flavored” boba.
