» New Drift Mode scoring: Fast and precise drifts now earn much bigger scores. Going off track, driving slowly or colliding with walls will result in a penalty to prevent exploits.
» All Drift Mode leaderboards will be reset in the days following the update to ensure they offer a level playing field.
» 25 new Elite Levels have been added (new cap is 60).
» 25 new Driver Levels have been added (new cap is 120) with new livery rewards to unlock along the way.
» 35 new Club Levels have been added (new cap is 120) with new livery rewards to unlock along the way.
» The game menus have been updated with new ‪#‎PS4share‬ imagery to showcase some of our most loved #PS4share photo mode snaps. Keep them coming!
» The loading screen for DRIVECLUB now shows off an awesome new #PS4share community photo collage made up of thousands of your pictures.

Also, one great detail is that this is probably the only game that managed to replicate how the transmission of the Regera behaves in real life. Starting from 0, then you put your foot down, the engine goes up then drones at 5000 rpm until 200 kph then it starts to climb all the way to the redline. And yes, it sounds similar to a CVT. Unlike in other racing games like Forza, wherein you put your foot down, it acts like you accelerate from 0 to top speed at the highest gear.

I never played DriveClub before but I want to buy it solely because of the Koenigsegg Regera. Can I just pick up the game and drive it or do I have to be at a certain level to drive it?

You don't have to be any level to drive it, you can drive it right away, but Regera is not in the main game content, rather you have to purchase it separately , Regera is in this Finish Line Expansion Pack together with the Jaguar XJ220: store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP9000-CUSA00093_00-DCXTOURXXXXXX024

bought the ps4 the game and the car 250 bucks total, based on this video alone. It drives like shit.... worst driving mechanics ever coming from a hard core grand turismo player to this was a shit. honestly the car's traction is slippery as hell and .00001 into it griping you are stuck in that direction no matter what. beautiful graphics shit gameplay no wonder i have never heard of this game.
