Emily, I have to tell you this since you are a fellow midwesterner and can relate. ( I live in Iowa) today my husband and I along with our ten year old son ended up getting caught driving during a tornado warning several tornadoes touched down in our town while we were right outside of town. I was an absolute nervous wreck in the car while we were trying to get home and the only thing that kept me somewhat calm was watching your videos! We ended up making it home safely with no damage to our home luckily but lots of people in our town had damage and some lost their homes! Bet you never thought someone would be watching your videos while dodging tornadoes!

I’m so ready for the winter weather this season. I love “snow days” school is cancelled. Throw on the snow suits and snow boots. Take the kids outside to play. Make hot chocolate and a big pot of soup or chili or chicken-n-dumplings. I will never outgrow snow days!

I think you'd like the Elf gloss in Cookie Dreams, the black looking one. It does have a small amount of pigment in it, makes your lips just a hint darker. Love the look you did with the eyeshadow, I'll give that look a try, also! 💖

I LOVE the Wet 'n Wild Megaslicks lip glosses. Like you said, no good for an opaque look, but great as a topper or just a sheer hint of color or shine. And so comfy!

See Massachusetts doesn’t offer remote learning at all. Completely stopped all remote learning the end of the school year (June 2021). Which is ridiculous bc if kids get Covid or are even exposed they’re out for what 10 days self quarantine then if they get sick another 2 weeks. No remote learning and they’re left to make up ALL Class work AND home work!!

I LOVE blue eyeshadow now but when I was a pre/teen in the 80’s I was wearing all browns like the Supermodels. I hade one of those Covergirl quads. I’m not sure if it’s the same one available today but very similar. That and a good red lip was my jam.

I purchased the eyeshadow palette, for the shimmery baby blue shade on the lids, and it really is pretty. And when I'm not using the baby blue shade, I enjoy the neutrals, and the white shade on the lids. The Black shade looks Navy, because that navy shimmery shade above it, gives the illusion that it's navy. I really like the Lip Scrub - besides it tasting so good, it exfoliates the lips, while being so moisturizing...unlike the original lip exfoliator, which was too dry and harsh for my lips.

Hey Emily! Love the new e.l.f. line, though I would probably use a good navy eye pencil, like NYX has, to set off the blues on my upper lid. Seems the dark shadow is just that, as you said: dark. But not necessarily blue. Question for you: Do the new Butter blushes have the strong fragrance of the other PF Butter products? Thanks for your energy on this pretty Saturday morning in Southern California! *edit: Nevermind! I wish they could do without the fragrance! zBut the eyeshadows don't seem to have that smell. I think they make soft powders because they want you to use them up and replace them sooner! Thinking of you on this bright 75 degree day; I sometimes wish our Winters were more extreme than just 45 degrees at night!

Physicians Formula has several new things on their site (and a few on Ulta) including a deeper looking face palette, some eyeshadow palettes, blushes, powders, liquid eyeshadow, and highlighter. I’d love to see a review of those, especially the eyeshadow and new blushes!

They used to make Maybelline brow fast sculpt in clear, I have one. I find the Revlon Kiss exfoliating balm sugar mint to be really good. I like how the sugar melts into a lip balm you don't have to wipe off.

I like the Bitter Buddy for my whole face. It’s so nice for my dry skin to give a soft glow without looking dry! I love they did the smaller compacts for the Butter Buddies collection so I grabbed the bronzer to replace my regular one since I was out of it. I wish they’d do the small compacts from now on instead of those fat ones they always do!

Love the look! I am not a fan of blue eyeshadow on myself. It makes my eyes almost look clear as I have soft light blue eyes. When you added the blue shimmer to the lid, It made the navy look darker black. I found that interesting. I have the covid and am on day 13! I’m ready for it to go away already! This was a great video and just what I needed as I try to rest. I haven’t worn makeup in 13 days now and I’m missing it. But I don’t have the energy to put any on. I ordered a few new eyeshadow palettes while sick. Probably shouldn’t have because I can’t wear it and normally I would get a new palette and try it right away, but I didn’t even have the excitement when I opened the boxes. That’s how I know I’m really not feeling well. I picked up the new Sydney Grace Be Mine palette in both light and deep and it’s stunning! Better than the pictures! I do prefer the deep version so I’ll send the light one to my daughter. She will love it! I also picked up the new Nomad Mt Whistler palette and it’s beautiful to look at! I can’t wait to dive in and play with it! Totally trying new to me indie brands this year, of course once I feel better!

Most other YT-ers didn't like this palette or the shadow sticks but you really did and it looks good. I was intrigued by the cookies and cream theme. Got the lip scrub, which is barely scrub and more balmy but enjoyable for the price and excited to try the putty primer. More like a plastic vanilla scent than c&c disappointingly

The illuminating butter buddy powder reminds me of the Jaclyn Cosmetics Illuminating setting powder. They’re both white translucent powders with slight shimmer. When applying them to the face I can’t really tell a difference!
