Oooh! Might have to try the elf primer. I wont lie, I am getting pissed at e.l.f. Their pricing just keeps increasing and increasing. $8 primer, $8 setting spray. Don't get me wrong, those are still affordable but I feel like the reason e.l.f. was so great and noticeable was because they had some awesome products at such an inexpensive price, closer to a Wet & Wild. They are getting to be closer priced to Covergirl and Maybelline than they are Wet & Wild. Sorry for the mini rant. lol. I just cant believe the price increase over the last couple of years. Alicia, yes it does. I apply it heavily where I have a bunch of acne scars and lightly over my pore areas and it really helps with both. I kind of press and then smooth I guess, and then let it set for a couple mins b4 foundation.

Tatcha uses real silk & makes it so slippery! The elf one has none. Tatcha looks beautiful when you just sit there & don't do anything but the elf will definitely last longer on oily skin imo

I really have been loving the e.l.f. primer. It makes a big difference under my eyes, which are getting older and are super dry. I've also noticed that it prevents my foundation from breaking down around my nose and mouth. I'm impressed. I haven't tried the Tacha one though, so I can't compare.

Little trick if you’re interested: flower beauty hydrating mist has THE BEST sprayer ever. I got it, didn’t care for the formula, emptied it and poured my all nighter spray in it. It’s so fine and perfect and spreads enough mist to coat the face without the gloopy feeling. Try it.

I love the Tarte Poreless Primer, but not the $39 price tag. It’s far less than the Tatcha, but would love to know if the ELF is *its* dupe. Also, I bought a Sonia Kashuk brush set a few months ago. It’s got a stiff round brush for concealer, but I don’t like it. It may work for “KZbin” under-eye concealing, but drags and pulls when using concealer sparingly ... especially on aging skin. It’s not particularly effective when stamping it in either.

I think the Tatcha ends up being cheaper because you get more product. So, if you like the tatcha better, might be worth it to purchase that one over the tarte. But I think the tarte is better at hiding pores. Idk

I have combo oily skin and when I used dewy foundation the ELF side broke down a bit more after about 4-5 hours. But when I used matte foundation they looked pretty similar with just a slight more airbrush look for the Tatcha side.

It is ironic that you made this video for today because I just place a large order at elfcosmetics.com. I was SO excited about two products: the pore filling primer you used today and the Sheer Blurring Under Eye Primer. The under eye primer is also supposed to be very hydrating. At 56, once I apply my powder to set my under eyes, the skin begins to look cakey and dry. After reading the reviews, I am hopeful this product will be the answer for me. I, of course, have been using the Revlon pore filling primer, but I have found it to be quite stiff. I wonder if I need to replace it. Elf is having a 60% off sale, so I got some GREAT buys on other items! Then, I was able to find the Catrice Dewy primer on the Catrice website. They seemed to have plenty of them. I would have bought more than one, but I haven't tried it yet, although if it works for Taylor, it always seems to work for me! I also ordered the camouflage concealer that Kathleen Lights is so crazy about. Can't wait to get these orders. Happy Holidays to everyone in our Baerrito family!

If you're into placing another huge elf order, I would suggest the Beautifully Bare line. Their concealers dont crease for me, which is insane because my under eyes have more lines than a mall on Black Friday. That and set with their sheer powder means they last all day long. And the great thing about the powder is that it sets everything, but it doesnt take away the dew or anything. However, I suggest going a shade lighter than you would think for the powder because it does darken a bit. And also use a semi dense tapered brush and pat the powder in.

Are you referring to the HD powder? I am having a hard time finding a powder that looks good on me. I am extremely pale, so most powders are too dark. I end up going with a translucent one. If u hate the spritzer but love the formula hold onto empty bottles with good spritzers &just swap out the top&dump the crappy spritzer bc most bottles come with the same size screwcap so u can get the product but now avoid the crappy nozzle situation. .if it doesn't fit just pour it into that empty bottle with the good nozzle. I've done that so many times it works like a charm.btw I saw u on Jessica Brauns channel &this is my 1st full vid of its I've watched .I'm subbed 👍🏻💙✌🏻💄
