I've been sitting on this purchase for a few days trying to figure out what would work best as I have a pretty light skin and neutral undertone I think and I've been using the lightest shade (the cool one) in the putty bronzers as my contour but I had reservations about getting a luminous bronzer in that shade and this video definitely made me realize that I am sticking to the matte when it comes to a contour shade but I'd love to try the luminous for a bronzer! I just never know which shade to get since they're all warm expect the deepest ones so I have such a hard time finding a shade that works for my skintone! But this video DEFINITELY helped!! 😁

I prefer cool-neutral toned bronzers for my fair-light neutral skin. For some reason, anything leaning warm looks too orangey on me. The lightest shade of the matte putty bronzers disappeared on my skin no matter how I applied it. I'm worried that the same thing would happen to me with this one, but the other cool-toned shades would be way too dark for me. I'm confused as to why there isn't a light or medium cool-toned shade?

I wanted to give the heads up to any EU follower watching this video: I was browsing through the BeautyBay new-in section and I realized they have completely different names for the European retailers, except for Golden Gaze. Also not all 8 shades are available on the BB site. I think it's useful to know.

I find the original one to be extremely subtle (which I don't mind) and finally settled on applying it with a dedicated mini sponge. I don't mind a luminous bronzer, but since I haven't been loving the luminous putty blush, I think I'll skip over these.

Steff, that was funny wasn't it 🤣😆 but in my earlier comment to you I was just wondering if you ever did tutorials because like I said I would learn so much from you I have so many palettes and I open them up and I'm just like duh and stare at them cuz I have no clue how to put colors together I guess and I have to use those like eye Shields because if not my shadow comes out like shit like I tried using Shadow without them and create my outer v and it just doesn't come out right and I know the more that I practice the better I'll be but like I said I could learn so so much from you 😘🥰🌹❤️

Thanks for showing these swatches. Unfortunately, none look like what I could pull off. I have light to medium olive skin. I prefer neutrals, not too gray or pink, and not too orange or yellow. None of these shades look neutral.

I liked them I bought some of them on their website and they always have sales so it’s cheaper to buy things in their website than ulta or cvs, Walmart etc. Plus something that I found out is that anything that you buy from elf cosmetics in ulta or other places you can scan the ticket and you can add points in your account with elf cosmetics and uses them on your next purchases 😉👍🏻👋🏻🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🎄

That light one isn't one I'd use for contour, but I'm going to try it as an actual bronzer. It looks like it might actually show up on me! Most bronzers either disappear in my freckles, or pull so orange or red I can use them as blush. I just love being a weird olive 🙃

This has nothing to do with Bronzer, but would you consider doing a video about how to look a palette and decide what colors to put where? I love the looks you create, but when I open a palette I don't know what to put where. There must be a method to the madness.

Nope! Just nope. I'll never wear a luminous bronzer. It looks sweaty!!! If you wear a luminous bronzer, you HAVE to wear a luminous blusher too ~ otherwise, it would look extremely odd. Are you understanding now? You contour with cool shades. Contouring is mimicking the shadows of your face. You can't contour a shadow with a warm shade. It's impossible. There is no way you can mimic the structure of your face with a wram bronzer. I wasn't dogging Steph. Read it again and you'd understand.
