Eleven 21 Pro - It is designed for grandma. She use it as part of her kitchen tool & scrapbooking project hence the scissors. That red tweezers is for picking up small items from buttons to beads etc. Love that TiPry with Ferro, will have to make one for grandad. You correct in saying that it's nice to carry something locally source & made. It also support local small business. You're the man maestro.!

I don't think you fully understand how IP ratings work. IP68 means a 6 rating for dust ingress protection, and an 8 rating for water ingress protection.
@marcuscrowell6964
@marcuscrowell6964 9 ай бұрын
Thank you! I did not know how it worked either. If something is rated IP6 would it be rated 6 for dust and water? Or should it specially say what the rating is for?
@Baggytrousers27
@Baggytrousers27 9 ай бұрын
Still means they had to send it in to be certified. If an IP rating has only 1 number and no X (denoting no data or not protected) then chances are it's not actually certified. e.g IPX4 not certified for dust protection and mildly splashproof, IP68 highest dust/liquid protection rating for non-commercial products and IP69K a rating for high pressure/temperature water jets/immersion.

The Kizer Cryptid is amazing. Bought one and its an absolute scalpel. Super sharp out of the box and the odd lines actually work really well.

Miguron definitely brings a huge value when you look at the prices they have versus the quality and materials they offer. Great stuff Dom

Nice!! The Wuben L1 reminds me of the old skool military right angle or L shaped flashlights but modernized. What is old is new again!!

I can vouch for Hide & Drink. I’ve been carrying an assortment of Leatherman bits and the Rebar bit adapter in a Hide & Drink coin purse in my back pocket every day for over a year, and the leather, stitching, and zipper are as good as the day I bought it. I hit it every few months with some leather conditioner, but that’s it. It just works.

The Wuben L1 is my car flashlight, it can also charge your phone in an emergency too. Nice versatility with 2 quality lights.

I feel like you've shown a multitool similar to that odd 1121 tool. Roxon i believe and they had a better presentation. They both seem like they're aimed towards elderly people.

519a is super nice. Man I love SFT40. Has nice spill but has really good throw. With the side being 519a that would be a floody light and the light on the top would be your throw. 519a is really floody just like 219b.

I use a "Mighty Wallet" by Dynomighty. Been using them for about 20 years now. They are 1 piece of Tyvek, and they won't be for everyone. I love them for 2 reasons - they are thin and light, and they have no chance of scuffing my phone. When I'm in jeans, I carry my phone and wallet in my left front pocket. Somewhere right around $20 usually, and made in NYC.

Regarding the Eleven21 Pro. The grabber tool is a useful item, I know several women who carry a similar tool. Although I'm not surprised that you dont know what it's for lol. For women with long manicures or fake nails, their nails dont grip onto stuff well. So they use things like that to remove credit cards from the tiny card slots of ATMs and Gas Pumps where they might damage or break a nail trying to pull it out. All the other tools seem easily deployed with long nails too, which seems the goal. That being said for a tool that has mainly a female focus, it is very... utilitarian in design. I know a whole lot of women who would not carry that just because it's ugly. So not really sure what they were going for there.

Thanks for all the great info as usual. The wuben flashlight is interesting. I know this is off topic, but you had mentioned a few videos go- a olight that also fits in the baton 4 charging case- which one was that?

There is certainly potential in that dexterity tool but as a first attempt it's not too bad. Certainly.would prefer it to those generic plier/adjustable wrench/spanner multitools with the weird size driver bits and crunchy pliers.

I received the titanium pry bar today. I bought it from AliExpress. Would you remove the clip if you needed to hammer into wood? Also I can't remove the flint, I've tried pressing the brass area down but nothing happens. Is there something that I'm missing? Thanks 😅

probably..I Would NOT use this to hammer into things though. get a steel wedge and mod it to a pry tool for that kind of high level abuse.

That's a shame about the Gavel. I LOVE that blade shape, great proportions, love brass handles in general, and I'm crazy for the old-school folder look. But that too-minimal tab is a deal breaker, especially for a more premium knife. Oh well, at least it keeps another knife out of my wish list!

The clip on the flashlight isn’t made for your pants pocket. That’s why you get a pouch to carry it with. The clip is to use on a hat bill or your shirt/coat. No one carries a light that big in there pants pocket lol

- if Milwaukee can sell a button lock for $20, then there's no reason to pay more than $30 for just a knife without a bit holder.
