OMG , when 4:56 hit I be ready for that lil dance 😫 In my opinion , this has been the BEST biopic that BET could ever put on their network in my whole 18 years of living 🙌🏽💯 Most biopics you see in today's society always has some kinda lie behind it but it was a smart move to create a biopic while EACH & EVERY member of New Edition is still alive & well which means the actual members got to tell their own truth behind the group & the music . Not only did these guys act , but they portrayed the roles with the help of their specific character that they played as well 👏🏽 I've literally enjoyed every bit of this movie & I found not one single flaw 🙅🏽 I love it 😍💙😩

These actors playing New Edition did an excellent job and you can see that by how many kids are singing their songs and doing the dance routines after the movie showed. I believe that the next 5 man R&B singing/dancing group has been inspired by this movie and in the next few years will may see that manifest itself. Especially if music industry people see the NE movie effect and recognize an untapped market- young (13-18 years old) male R&B group........

I was going to buy the dvd when it comes out but after reading re-posted tweets from the guy who played Bobby and the guy who played Ralph? As a self-respecting Black woman - NO. The guy who played Bobby posted that, "A wish (he left in the typo - it was supposed to be wise) man said, 'if it's White it's right'". He also posted that, "When I get famous, I'm only going to date White girls." The guy who played Ralph posted some mess about how fine White girls were and how 'thick' they were getting. It was in Lipstick Alley. I bet someone gets to them and makes them take it down. We all know how the guy who played Johnny fixed his lips to say he loves Black women then someone busted him because his past girlfriends and current girlfriend were White. Well, the actors who played them were like them (except for Mike who is with a brown skinned woman), they all went either light, bright, might as well be White or straight out White.
