I have been watching your videos for a long time, and I really like your style of explaining caravans. Additionally, I would love to see more details on sofa to bed conversions, as I haven't been able to find them on KZbin for specific models.

I wonder if there’s a 4 bed version of this, a great layout. This ticks a lot of boxes.

Back in the 1990s, Elddis was the most popular caravan on the Japanese market. Second was probably Lunar. In those days, the Elddis caravans were much smaller and much lighter that meant that they could be towed on a regular driver's licence as their MIRO was less than 750kg. This dealer special Rambler edition Elddis is very nice and whilst it would require getting the Japanese 2nd Class Towing licence (costs about ¥190,000 or roughly £1,000), it is a good fit for Japanese roads for couples that want a bit more room than the rather cramped less than 750kg offerings currently on the Japanese market. These days, Elddis is unavailable here. The only downside to the Elddis in this video is that the fitting of an air conditioner looks to be difficult. For our climate, an air conditioning unit is an absolute must.

Thank you for watching and nice to see a comment from you again.. that is interesting about the Japanese caravan market. It isn’t a leisure market I know much about but I will take a look now. Have a good 2025 😊

The locker cover at the front , what a much better design is that , so easy to lift and smart too.Thats a beautiful colour of sofas .Looks quite firm . ( what does the 17ET stand for ?) The lounge windows are wide , I prefer that , I noted the curtain fabric is turned so that the outer colour faces the public and not the interior , is that odd to you ? The small "sideboard" is neat . I feel the sockets could have been situated on the right hand side nearer to the window, so one could handily use the rest of the space for any food cooked in the microwave above safely . without getting tangled up in the cables. But the microwave is great situated where it is and not above a hob ,. The hob could also have benefited from a cover similar to the worktop ( as we saw in previous vans you have shown ) it would have given the impression that the worktop was solid and give extra space to work , however saying that the glass cover would work anyway , just not as smooth looking .I prefer a steel sink too. When you mentioned the wall not having any joints , why doesnt the ceiling come that way too ? I noted 2 joints across the ceiling . When you opened the door to the rear washroom , I immediately thought wow thats big . Thats a great size for a wardrobe with drawers too. and the table . |This is a REALLY nice caravan.

Good morning and thank you for watching, the letters usually refer to bed layout, TB Transverse bed IB Island bed etc so maybe on this ET is end toilet as it does not have a fixed bed. That is a good point about the sockets, and I like the workshop cover over the hon too. Not many manufacturers use that style of finish. I will have to go back in the video and look at the curtains as I did not notice that 😊 Glad you liked the large rear washroom. Have a lovely weekend 😊
