Spraying on makeup brush then applying to face might be the better alternative. That's how I think I will try. GREAT REVIEW video of all elf sprays. Really needed this. THANK YOU!!

I looooooooove the Dewy Setting Mist! The spray is a little spitty/harsh, I agree, but it doesn't bother me. I just pat it out with a sponge, too. The smell is amazinggg, and I think it leaves a natural finish to the skin. Not super dewy, but definitely a sheen 😍 I'm seriously about to buy more haha I haven't tried the hydrating mist yet, but I'm definitely going to!

With all of my Elf mists I transfer them into old Pixi spray bottles. They have an amazing fine mist.

Jill Peterson I'm definitely going to try that! I recently just went through another Pixi facial mist, so I'll have to give that a try because I too was recently noticing that the ELF Active Cool Down mist is a little too harsh/leaves droplets on my face. Thank you so much!!

Girl if you're like me, I'm welcoming warm weather with open arms! We've had a little snow but this weekend forecast is giving Sunny..."Yeahhh"!! I am having cabin fever soo bad! My brother went to Law School in MI, and it was always soo cold as he was'nt use to that much snow and cold, lol. I think it was in Lansing, Idk can't think of the name of the school he he!!

My skin is SO DRY... I'm on the hunt for something that will keep my skin looking fresh, and not powdery or cakey for at least a few hours... It seems like I can never even get like 2 or 3 hours wear out of my makeup.... I tried Flower Beauty's hydrating "dewy" setting spray, and though it smells nice, I can't say it performed very well on me. Which would you guys recommend that I try of the two products reviewed here? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! 😘

It's not completely clear it's a little plastic frosted looking, but you can still see it through it enough!

When do you spray this elf setting spray? I sprayed after all my make-up n my foundation streaked! 😱 And I thought it's a setting spray and it's supposed to set my make-up? Some one told me to put it beneath my foundation and I'm confused. Please unravel and advise me.. thanks. 😅

Well with the hydrating coconut one you can use as a toner and also freshen up makeup in the afternoon.. I don't know about the dewy one but you need to spray from a distance and don't drench your face. I spray mist then add a bit of makeup on top or more makeup and spray. Naturally mist and hydrating sprays can distintigrate the make up a little. But yes you can use these sprays as a toner and then as a setting or hydrating spray.
