NEW ELF MAKEUP FULL FACE… *Wow* Moments!

2 staying power updates regarding the foundation... *On this day, the foundation was only set in the under-eye & t-zone areas. I didn't think the foundation looked great by day's end. Granted, I'd been at a playground in 85ish degree heat, but I thought my pores and any skin texture looked a lot more apparent. It just wasn't as nice & fresh as it looked in the video. *The next day, I tried setting my face all over (lightly) - I used my Maybelline Superstay powder, and basically the same face routine otherwise. It lessened the glow of the foundation a little bit, but I kept it light. Once again worn in the heat- and it looked significantly better at the end of the day. More smooth and even. The takeaway- setting all over (even lightly) helps! Especially in the summer heat.

@KaitPlanet They have a decent color payoff. There is a coconut scent, but it does fade. It also is not very strong scent, not like Physicians Formula. They have a slightly gel like consistency.

YES.. enjoying the founation too.. use the elf primer liquid ( dupe of tacha) and lightly set with kosas powder...win! The lippie at the end look sooo beautiful too! This was such a happy and fun video! First of all, congrats to Tyler on his new practice. How exciting for him and all of you!! And that's so cool that he's going to make his own office furniture. My father-in-law was a wood worker by trade, did cabinetry, tables, etc., as well as abstract wood sculptures for art shows. My brother-in-law is also a wood worker by trade. Loved seeing Bitty as always! You guys are watching the shows of my childhood in the '70s. Both Little House and The Waltons were faves. I liked the sass of Mary Ellen, the humor of Grandpa, and related to John-Boy because he wanted to be a writer (like me!), lol. As for the makeup, I was really excited for your reviews, especially of the Soft Glam Satin Foundation. I am thinking this will be great for the cooler months like fall and winter. I love how smoothly it seems to apply. Very intrigued by many other e.l.f. products you demo'ed, Em! Have you tried the Sun Boss Gloss. That's My Jam looks like a pretty berry color!

The Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray is one of the best setting sprays I've ever used. The mist is so fine and seems to make my makeup become one with my 69-year-old skin. It works well with my liquid foundations and my Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten powder foundation. Definitely a winner for me.

You are the only beauty influencer I love that isn’t afraid of the Mimi blush look, and it always looks pretty good on you ❤ That elf setting mist is one you’d spend a lot of money for. It’s sooo good, and I didn’t know how I would feel about oil in my mist. Another amazing one is the Cover Girl cactus water setting spray in the pink label. That’s another glowy one that immediately melts the makeup together to give this seamless beautiful application. That one people have not really discovered yet, but for those of us who haven’t overlooked it, it’s become a HG facial mist for makeup. It’s awesome for winter months when the skin is dull and dry and just as great for summer when you want that beautiful glow to the skin without being greasy looking.

I aplied a blurting matt primer under the foundation and it was very matt on my dry skin. I will try it with the bronzer drops now. I Love the way your skin was glowing. The blush is a magnificent color! I can never have enough blush. Elf has created such Amaxing products at reasonable prices. That makes me very Happy in our current economy.❤️❤️❤️

Have you tried brushing your lashes with a very tiny bit of powder? It helps if any of your facial prep is on them. Your morning routine can weigh them down if in your lashes.

I’m so glad you’re trying the foundation. The last 2 I’ve tried from Elf has been too thick and too high coverage for my needs. I’ve been using them as a mix in. The Soft Glam looks really good. My current fave is Wet n Wild tinted moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. It’s so good and cheap.

Man I miss the days when a full elf haul didn't cost me and arm and a leg. But I'm glad they're doing well. They do have some really great products I can't be without. I started with elf and now that I'm trying high end I realize how great elf is in comparison with some of their products. I finally just bought the power grip primer and I ignored the hype. Now I'll never go without it especially in fl weather. Yikes!

Emily...omgosh...I haven't watched your videos in quite some time, but was just thinking of you the other day!!!! I wondered how you were and how your family was.
