I agree!’ I like their purple total face sponge ...omg total dupe for a BB minus the shape. But I love the slanted shape. It absorbs and applies just like the beauty blender. And has kept it shape so well. I’ve used a RT ones and it’s decent. but for me I like how the elf applied better. And only $5. I agree their sponges are definitely worth a try!

netcatzpj for me personally the RT sponge was a bit harsh even when damp. I also watch Casey Holmes and that’s where I initially heard of the Elf sponges. I bought two (one for baking and powders, the other for concealer/foundation) and haven’t looked back since. It honestly is the best thing! I've noticed with a lot of the powders from ELF, they are really hard. I recommend taking a spoolie and scrubbing a portion up to the surface, before you put your brush in. Or take a big, scratchy eye shadow brush (I own a lot of cheap, scratchy brushes lol) and use that to highlight. I get better pigmentation.

ELF also has new matte blushes. Peach and Earthy (I think). I got both of em and they’re great, a little goes a long way! I wore peach today and it literally lasted 9 hours at work with very little fading. And at an amazing price point! Trust me you’ll love em!

I have the 'Hello Hydration" and I love the texture and moisture, but I can't do fragranced skincare. I can't handle smelling the fragrance for long periods of time. I've been really pleased with the new products Elf has brought out in the past year or so. I had the Hello Hydration cream and ordered the Happy Hydration cream (along with the All The Feels facial oil, the Puff puff Pass primer, and the Calm balm lip balm when Elf introduced their cannabis sativa-infused line recently) and I love both of the creams (Hello and Happy). I am so disappointed you didn't like the 6-pan highlighter palette; that's my very favourite highlighter of all! I picked mine up at WalMart and I use a lightweight highlighter or fan brush through all the ribbed shades for my cheeks and then use mainly the 1st pan/lightest shimmer for my nose, Cupid's bow, and chin (centre of face) highlight. Nice look and I have the OTHER two Haute Chocolate palettes to play with. Great video!

I am in LOVE with that cream! The HELLO HYDRATION face cream with hyaluronic acid and PEPTIDES. I am an oily face girl, but this stuff does great things for my skin. I absolutely recommend it! I also bought the ELF Opposites Attract eyeshadow palette and I really enjoy it. Nice colors that blend well and last. I also have their products for oily skin and I can't recommend them enough!! ELF has come a long way, baby!

Hi Emily! I had the same problem with the shades of the concealer. I used medium sand over the summer, and bought light peach for a winter shade. It is way too light for me. Now I use light sand and it works perfectly! I would recommend trying that one

I purchased the Elf camo concealer recently based off of your recommendation and I have to say I love it! I was definitely noticing in other concealers my under eye circles still peeking through especially once I had the rest of my makeup on or concealers creasing or looking heavy under the eyes, the elf one doesn't do that at all and gives full coverage without being drying or cakey and last really well! so thanks for always giving amazing recommendations of products that are inexpensive and amazing!

I thought my camo concealer was too light too but I did a test and they oxidize fairly quickly until they are a shade or two darker. I think ELF knows that and factors that into their shade names. Loved the look! Definitely want to try that cream now.

I love elf so much. I recently went away on vacation n I was packing my makeup n I didn't even realize until I got there that around 70% of my bag was elf products! Like I just genuinely gravitate towards them without even thinking abt it. A few of my favs are their shadow sticks that twist up, their brow pencil, the blotting powder in the black compact, their luminous blush is amazing, backed blush n i use it as a highlight, their shadow duos, their primer infused bronzer so amazing! The wow brow is very good as well! I like their stick concealer I think it's in the beautiful bare line! Obviously love the putty primer! Im on my second container of it now

On the elf palette maybe you have to scrap the top layer in order to get those highlights to work. I had to do that to the elf 24 karat highlighter cuz they are pressed super hard or overly baked idk but that seems to work bomb for me. Beautiful

The color story palettes that are called Karma, Empress, Radiant Rose or something like that, and Decadence are so good. Especially if you like a subtle eye. Decadence is the best formula and warmer shades if you like a bolder eye look. Mirage is also good and super bold shades. Mystic Trance looks like something a preteen would wear.

I like the lip gloss and liquid lipstick. The foundation isn't full coverage, but it's a good basic foundation when I just want to put something on and have a basic look like with face powder, lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara.

Emily the elf palette looks georgeous if you want to match those eyes with a neutral Matte lip with a gloss would work too but berry looks great too
