If you want to see how good Zappe was today, don't look at his stats, look at the WR stats. Everybody ate, like 6 guys with 3+ catches, 4 or 5 guys with 50-60+ yards. He just hit the open man all game like a pre 2007 Tom Brady used to.

I think it is the simplicity. The Offensive minds now make these more simple and safe routes for Zappe to throw too. Just like how Jones was plinking and plonking his way to an amazing year for a rookie. Now they are getting more complex with bigger deep throws. When Mac Jones went down, Patricia had to go back to the tried and true Patriots Offence, and this is why "Zippy" Zappe looked like TB12 out there today. I don't know if I believe all of that, as it wasn't coming from Andy Gresh, Michael Holly, Scott Zolak, or anybody I ever heard of, actually.

A lot of the sports media know it alls ragged Belichick for drafting Zappe. I don't hear them now. The kid has been rock solid, making good decisions and slinging that ball. Thornton coming back from injury is a big boost to the offense. People questioned that pick too, but he looks like the real deal. Jack Jones has played well too. The Patriots definitely scooped up some players in the last draft.

Who would’ve thought that at the beginning of the season, especially with the college Zappe came from in Western Kentucky (Conference USA) versus Mac Jones from Alabama? I just want to comment like everyone else at just how impressed I am with Zappe. A 3rd string quarterback getting the chance of a lifetime and really making the most of it. In this game, he showcased both his potential and talent. I am really supporting him, cheering for him, and hoping he succeeds. I'm going to keep an eye on this guy.

They had like 10 penalties and almost blew the game after folk missed the field goal. If that browns player didn't touch the ball out of bounds on the onside kick, then fumble a punt return on the next possession, the Patriots might have lost. They couldn't stop the browns at all at the end of the game. Sure the final score looks good, but that game got dicey, and a better team than the browns probably wins.

I remember saying during the Draft Zappe was the most underrated QB in the draft everyone was going on about Willis and Picket but I was watching Zappe and not understanding why he wasn't being spoke about I'm British and only been watching the NFL for 3 years so assumed I was being stupid but I really think Zappe has insane potential! He's accurate, composed, confident, comfortable in the pocket, agile enough to extend a play if needed and has a strong enough arm I really think he'll be the best QB of 2022 class!

I’m no QB scout but it seems pretty freaking obvious to me… Exactly what you said.,.. Way more confidence & poise, doesn’t seem to panic & stays on the play even when he’s flushed out of the pocket which Mac never seemed to do. Another thing that seems obvious is there’s more Zip on the ball . Some of Macs deep balls seemed to hang in the air forever. Anyway….. I like Mac but I don’t know how you sit Bailey & hand the job back to him unless Bailey slips up

I recall alot of my patriots fans talking bad about GM Bill B. after the draft and said he reached n overdrafted all our picks but this rookie class has a legitimate chance to be BB best ever, off the top of my head with no research 80 to 90 percent of the class is on the roster and majority of them have been coming up clutch lately from Zappe, Strange, Thornton, Jack J, Marcus J, Kevin Harris, Pierre Strong, Schooler, Chasin Hines, Sam Roberts, Demarcus C.... and all of them is on the roster thats an incredible feat n we still have plenty room to improve but this is a recipe of another dynasty in the making and not to mention over 100 million in free agency this upcoming offseason if we keep hitting in the draft n use our financial capital we can win 3 more SBs in the next 7 years......#PATRIOTS
