This wasn’t a political statement. It’s an artistic license on the mini flag inspired by England WC winning training kits. The shirt 99% looks like a white England shirt with the usual red and blue details with the FA badge on the front. The Nike tweet was a poor choice of words. A real political statement would be when USSF made players wear rainbow names on numbers on our kits, that is actually embarrassing.
