As a geologist, I love the glaciated shoreline, from the moraine deposits along Long Island to Nantucket and Cape Cod to the ground-down-to-bedrock shoreline of New Hampshire and Maine. Just lovely. You folks live on glacial deposits in Aurora and environs (as I did down on the Champaign and Urbana moraines). Such beautiful country to fly over.

Yet again, great video you two. One of my favorites because its all in my backyard, been to all those airports (PVC, BOS, PSM, SFM, PWM, RKD, BHB, etc). Just spectacular views. Little surprised you didn't mention P-67, the Bush Family compound in Kennebunk, must have gone right by it. BTW, I did an intro flight today with a husband/wife couple, he wants to get his private pilot certificate, and she wants to be like Jamie! They love your videos and you have inspired them. She flew front seat and absolutely loved it. Again, great job promoting GA flying guys.

Great travel log Kevin. The Maine coast is gorgeous. Years ago lighthouses were the primary method for coastal navigation. They were spaced down the east coast to Florida. The flashing sequence determined each lighthouse at night, and the markings or stripes by day. Sailors were always in site of the beam at night in Clear weather. Thanks guys.

As I've been catching up on your videos, I just realized that your experience as controllers does something for you that I never quite acquired in 1700+ hours of flying. I could never conduct a conversation with my passenger(s) while a) in a busy airspace or b) while a controller was speaking. I was always afraid of missing my own call sign. But you guys do it seamlessly and seem never to miss a call since you are probably so accustomed to conducting multiple conversations while working a sector. Great videos. I owned my plane (C182) for 26 years and sold it earlier this year. I've been watching your videos for my ATC communications fix. :)

Flying low and slow you sure get to see a lot more. Thanks for taking the scenic route. Before GPS those lighthouses were critical for navigation. Even now with chartplotters and RADAR, I find it comforting when a lighthouse comes into view when it should.
