I saw that your laundry had something eating the little socks! We used a mesh laundry bag from dollar tree to contain all the little bits and hide them from the laundry gremlins! I just used the mesh bag like a liner in a tall laundry basket and sat it next to the hamper. When a load was ready just pull it out of there, zip it shut and toss into the washer. Hope this helps! Hi there, I noticed a comment here on laundry. I'm mother of 6 and wished I'd known this years ago. When I worked in prisons, they use very very large zipped mesh wash bags similar to lingerie bags but bigger, buy from a hardware store. Each prisoner puts their own washing into their own mesh bag. Every week (more for families, I'd guess) they put in there ALL their washing, like quilts, sheets, jackets, clothes etc., absolutely everything. They go into the large washing machines and then into the dryers. They each then put away their own 'bags'. I'm thinking as a Mum we could use this system to our benefit, and it will stop all those lost socks and pillow cases. It would also help the children to learn independence with washing, some training would be needed, I think it would be good. I do similar now, but I only have 2 Adult children at home. So we use the washing basket system and each does their own, wash, dry put away. I still have to organise them to a certain extent, reminders mostly and follow through. Just an idea for anyone who might be drowning in washing, like I used to be.

Great hauls ..try lemon pepper on potato soup it's delicious we have always used it for years .. also on French toast try some nutmeg sprinkled in egg mixture it brings it over the top with flavor

Yes🙌 I’ve heard of the nutmeg on French toast haven’t tried but definitely should! But lemon pepper Note to self definitely trying that sounds delicious with the lemon reminds me of lemon rice soup. Yum thank you for those recommendations ✨🫶🙌

Butternut squash makes a really good soup xx if u half it, remove the seeds then score into cubes without going through skin lightly oil and add seasoning then roast in the oven xx u can then eat it as is just scoop it out or scoop it out n pop it into a blender with some stock n cream for soup xx😘 u can use/add a multitude of seasonings depending on your tastes eg. Salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, cumin, coriander, nutmeg, cinnamon to name a few xx
