I just got the best news ever, I’ve been planning to go to Empire to get certified in esthetics and makeup, but I’m in recovery (5 years sober, opiates) and that meant extra hurdles for me. I still have some shit on my criminal record, it’s all very old and luckily most of my stupid stuff from the past dropped off, but I had to submit my application into this board of certification along with my record and a letter explaining how I take my recovery seriously and haven’t been in trouble in over 6 years, and why I hope to go to school. My class starts Monday so I’ve been freaking out for weeks, terrified they’d reject me, but they accepted me yesterday! so I’m officially an esthetics apprentice! I am so excited! ❤ Thankfully they only care if you’re a violent felon or something, which I’m not. I bawled my eyes out when they sent me the email and it wasn’t bad news 😂 My goal is, I want to be a makeup artist mainly but I can’t be certified for just makeup in my state, though learning about esthetics will only help me in the long run. I’m so relieved they let me in! I hope to do bridal and more creative makeup on people for shoots, but also want to spend some time volunteering at rehabs giving makeovers and encouragement to women new to recovery. So there’s my good news! Hope you and your man are doing well, sending you guys and your kitties my love ❤❤❤ The palette is so pretty . I wanna try ER but not till they stop with the creepy AI art! Like pleaaase just pay a real artist! Their shadows look so nice though. The cold moon and harvest moon palettes almost had me 😂

I love this look and everything paired together! You look like you just stepped out of the '70's. I can imagine you standing up and having a pair of those high waisted bell bottoms on with platform boots. This collection is cute, might have to look into it. Another gorgeous palette from ER❤❤❤ On my wish list❤ Though I prefer their shimmers more than their mattes. But the mattes in this one will fill the gaps in the Flower Moon and Harvest Moon palettes. The Moon mattes were all midtone and the Harvest ones all pretty deep, so I think this balances it out with a range of depths. But my preference would be an even split. On the days that I am busy and need a quick look I like having matching shimmer/matte pairs to reach for.. ❤❤

This is so spooky, I did a very similar look today using Give Me Glow’s Mystical Garden palette and Unearthly’s All I Ever Wanted palette BEFORE I watched this. How weird.
