I did the exact same thing my first time taking P. I always did well on math tests, so took it lightly. I bought a study manual and barely read it, just memorized some formulas and got a 5. Lesson learned, practice beforehand because I don't have the time on exam day to piece solutions together from scratch.

Does grant writing experience work?
@EtchedActuarial2 жыл бұрын
From my understanding, grant writing is pretty different from what actuaries do! Any job where you can get experience with Excel or a programming language is usually good experience, especially analyst jobs or underwriting. I hope that helps!! :D
