I found five UE Takers at Target yesterday and was unable to purchase one. I asked the worker in electronics to check if it would ring up. He said they wouldn't be allowed to sell it until the 21st. In fact, he had to keep it so I didn't put it back on the shelf. The employee said it's usually a worker not paying attention to the shipping boxes when they are stocking the shelves, since they are marked for street dated items to avoid merchandise going out too early. He was apologetic and frustrated because he said it happens a lot and all it does is piss off the customers when checking out. I've only run into the street date issue at Target. I was tempted to grab a figure and hide it behind some peg warming areas until it was available for purchase but I felt shady doing that so I just left it alone. I'll take my chances next week that one is on the shelf. I did pick up that AEW two pack. I think the figures are dog crap, but at that price point, I couldn't pass up that MJF robe.

Absolutely agree the distribution is terrible all around And not just for WWE but especially for DC and Marvel. Throw a load of figures nobody wants on the pegs, they sit, clearance and then some. Not only do figures randomly get put out we’re not allowed to buy but there’s many times old figures get put out! I saw the Cody and Stone cold-Kevin Owen’s figures on the pegs before I ever saw waves 102-106. Ridiculous nonsense

You ain't kidding! There hasn't been a good AEW figure in a minute. Some reviews of this set show that they still have the same old staining issues. Let's not even get into the head sculpt and paint applications on this set. I saw the new Lionheart gear Jericho at Target today. Woof, that headscan would make Bret Hart blush.

@@ncvogt yeah bro im not sure whats going on. Jakks did both wwe & tna dirty the last 2 or so years of their contract so im wondering if jazwares is doing the same. In my opinion i think thats the case. I dont think jazwares wants to continue to do wrestling toys. It costs a lot of money to actually make a realistic, good toy. Theyre not copying a drawing, theyre trying to match the likeness to a real human being. That takes a lot of $$. And to mass produce them and hope people buy 4 or 5 in each line is nuts.

For street dated figures: if there's a different ultimate, take both to self checkout. Scan the decoy figure twice and put the street date in your bag. Ask for help and say you decide not to get both. Ask the attendee to remove one of the scans from your cart and hand her the the figure you dont want. done. she did nothing wrong. you can just play dumb. there is no victim.

Now here come the veggies. BUT they STILL got the headscan incorrect. That don’t look like Taker at all. Look like Ben Affleck to me. Affleck in his biker phase. What is it with this consistent issue with not being able to peg accurate face sculptings on the heads of these figures? Jacks TORCHED Mattel’s headscans. Mattel does an enormous amount of things right. They’re the head honcho for a reason…but they just can’t seem to get the headscans right. Cenas newer releases look fairly enough like JBL…that’s an entirely different superstar. Banks, Bliss, and Beckys face always look tiny af and wildly off target. They look like create your own characters from a Kim-possible video game. On PS2. Kanes best headscan is probably corporate Kane tbh. That’s insane. They struggle to get HHH right too. He always looks cartoonish af. And now this failure, at a wide open opportunity to create a beautiful Taker headscan? 09 Taker? Legendary Taker? Really guys? Eventually we’re gonna have to get better here
