My Nana (maternal grandma) made quilts like that too! I lived with her closer to her death a number of years ago. I wanted to buy her home, but wasn't able to afford it. It sold, they tore it down and built a much bigger home. The house is gone, but my memories are vivid and I walk through her home in my mind occasionally. I raised my kids, out on their own now, in a much more appropriate home a mile away from Nana's house, and still live here. Remember God is good and will always restore what's been lost. ❤ ...just not always right away 😊

P.S. you're parents are gonna miss having you around 24/7 when you all move back into your rebuilt home. Just sayin'. I'm sure they also see your trial as a blessing. They know it's temporary but just the same

The memories are not gone. You are still remembering and carrying that feeling of happiness within you. Keep it tucked away for moments when you need it. Now you will have new adventures with which to make memories. ❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoyed the longer video! Maybe you can do one long one once a month, since it is time consuming. Loved the quilt your friend made and sent, very thoughtful ♥️. I get attached to things other people might not, I too would have been very upset about the dead tree. Praying you and the family can have many new memories to “add to” the memories from before.

Yes my dear. What a loss. You need to process and this is a way to do that. And it’s not silly and you don’t need to say you’re sorry. You just process as much as you need to! If someone doesn’t want to listen, they can click off. I lost my 16 yr “young-ish” little puppy dog. She was killed by 2vicious pitbulls. That was back in April. I feel your loss. I can’t imagine all you’re having to think through. I still talk about it still. I think we are keeping the memories fresh. You are a strong woman. Such a good momma and wife! Will keep you and fam in prayers!!! Danielle

My heart hurts for you, seeing the toys. After our home flooded, I completely lost it when I saw all of my daughter’s ruined things once the water receded. The grief definitely takes time, but it does get a little easier eventually.

I can't t thank you enough for your inspiration. I must tell you, it was very difficult to find you on KZbin. I heard you say in your Facebook reel that you had a KZbin site, but you did not post a link or say what the name of it was. I am so happy I eventually did find your site.

So I highly highly highly recommend this stuff that I use. You can even eat it LOL but don't. It's better than Mr erasers better than any cleaner that I have ever purchased in my entire life. And it's called Abenaqui cleaner. Now the be changing the name to Naki.. but this stuff lasts forever. But anyhow it's in a white tub with green writing on it and I don't stick my wet hand in there I take my finger and I take the stuff out you don't even have to worry about it burning you nothing cuz it's so natural. And it took pine sap off my hands made my glass top stove look brand new shine my sink takes off grime off of glass I mean there are endless possibilities with this stuff. Also it does not discolor your painted walls. It took the yellow off my headlights. It took off the pine sap off my white car. I'm telling you this stuff hands down is the best. Now Odaban has to be the best disinfectant I've ever used in my entire life. My godmother was telling me when I went to go visit her that my godfather got the stuff and it took away the mildew he smelled that he had in his car for whatever reason. And I was like oh is it called this and she's like oh I can't remember so they went and got it out from underneath the sink and I'm like yes that's the stuff I've been telling you to use LOL my cat Trey which I put the pee pad in because I use tidy cat. I mean I don't smell pee. My cat was extremely sick at the same time I had a very bad lymphatic infection. And I did not know that she had peed on the floor and not in the kitty litter. Anyhow I was like how am I going to get the smell out. I tried baking soda I tried everything. Until I used to go to band. I sprayed it left it. It took it away. I'm just so impressed with these two products it's not even funny.

I wonder why the basement couldn’t be salvaged?
@OrganizedChaos4 Жыл бұрын
We had an engineer look at it. The fire burned too hot for too long. It had started cracking. They said it would most likely get worse and eventually water would start seeping in. I wish we could have saved it! That would have saved us like $100k!!!

Audrey, how long are they projecting the house to take to demolish and rebuild?
@OrganizedChaos4 Жыл бұрын
We are hoping to be in by Christmas. The concrete should be done in June, framing done in July. We will be doing a lot of the inside finishing work ourselves. They were there this week for a day and have already filled in almost all of the old basement so things are moving along!
