Correction the Ltd used to be more affordable. Some are now over 2 Grand with a lot of them over $1500. Insane. ESP is following Gibson’s lead into being out of touch with most guitar players

This is more due to global supply chain problems and inflation. They don't manufacture the Deluxe models (which go for that price point you're referring to) in China. They don't cut corners by using inferior electronics/hardware. Buying an LTD Deluxe is almost like buying a factory-made ESP. In the very unlikely case your brand new LTD Deluxe has some flaw, ESP customer service will take care of it through their warranty. $1,500 is expensive, but not overpriced for a guitar that will sound and play perfectly for a lifetime with proper maintenance.

@@tonymarinelli7304 They manufacture the Deluxe models in Indonesia, in a factory that has proven to have quality standards for decades . My EC 1000 Deluxe is 14 years old and still plays and sounds brand new.
