Nick, Thanks for your routine dedication. PoI's: 1) @ 2:36 mins there is a fair amount of material now sited at the SE corner of the Plaza. Stacked in the middle are, I think, the remaining sections of Heritage Rail for the SE Corner. There are also some taller objects sited just N of the southern Tower Gates, which I can't identify but which might just be retractable bollards that are due to be inserted in the threshod of the southernmost Tower Gate thoroughfare. 2) @ 5:10 mins, we can see that they have completed fitting the 10m wide Roller-Shutters on the SW Wind-baffle structure. 3) @ 5:11 mins, we can see the tall fencing applied to the edges of the southern Isolation Bridge. 4) @ 5:45 mins, we can see they have started replacing the flags around the lights on the mezzanine, halfway along between the southern end and the Main West Stand Portal. 5) @ 6:02 mins, we can see 24 (I think) EV Charger Stations along the balustrade at the east side of the West Quay. 6) @ 6:40 mins, we can see they've completed the concrete base for the extra-high fencing at the NW end of the site and half installed the Roller Shutter door on the larger opening of the wind-baffle, above the yellow Granite Sett-laying machine. 7) @ 11:05 mins, I think we can see Control Panels have appeared on the TV Camera and Commentary platform at the bottom of the Upper Tier of the West Stand.

Great work Nic, Could you revisit the route the team bus will take. I am sure it will go through the tunnel at the west stand. Not on the outside by the decking. People and traffic will be kept apart. Thanks
@rosse6705Ай бұрын
The coach always arrives 2 hours earlier than kick off anyway and leaves 2 hours after so people wouldn't be in the way. They probably won't allow access to people on that route behind the north stand and going onto the west until all the players are off and in the stadium as well.
@aq1974_Ай бұрын
Buses won't go under the west stand mezzanine (not enough room for a bus under there). On fine days the bus will stop halfway along the steps and the players will go through the middle entrance there. On wet/windy days the bus will stop at the north end of the mezzanine and they will walk in from the NW corner under the mezzanine. Bus should arrive before the bulk of the crowd, and only away fans have turnstiles on the north stand (at the NE corner) so there will usually be minimal crowds when they do.
@DuncTheBlue1878Ай бұрын
@@aq1974_ Spot on, and there won’t be any traffic allowed on the northern access route 2 hours before and after kick off (except emergency vehicles, of course) 👍🏻
@davidbadcock2225Ай бұрын
Pipinn: stop a moment and review your statement. Others here have given you correct responses but you answer your own query with this: "People and traffic will be kept apart". The only people that will have reason to use the path hugging the facade of the North Stand are stadium, maintenance and medical staff. Stewards will block Away Fans from going further than Gate #24 at the NNE corner. There are NO Home Fans entrances along the North Stand. The entrances for the Home Fans attending the North Stand are from either the E Stand Plaza (Gates 22/23) or at Gates 1/2 at the north end of the West Stand, under the Mezzanine, which they will get to via the South Concourse and along the West Side, either under the mezzanine or along in front of the West Terrace. The only 2 coaches, the players coaches, will arrive in all probability 2 hrs before and after the game. the Security Operation will allow only a limited, authorised entry number of vehicles to 'move' about withing 2 hrs of the match and there will be NO vehicle movements one hour either side of the match, with the exception of emergency vehicles. The coaches can't travel through under the mezzanine. The locations of the support steels won't allow it. And, as you clearly stated, vehicles and people will not be allowed to mix in a narrow, confined area, such as under the mezzanine. In inclement weather, the coaches may poke their noses under the north end of the mezzanine just for cover briefly as the team disembark, but that's as far as it'll go. In good weather, the coaches will travel along the west Concourse in front of the terracing. People will step out of the way onto either the Lower Promenade or the Terracing itself. That concourse is much wider than you are appreciating just now.

There appear to be floor mounted lights each side of every white painted pillar supporting the roof that seem to be the same design as those now appearing on the stalks being mounted around the barrel cladding on the east stand. This begs the question about lighting on the other two stands. I don't see anything similar on the north stand, and no sign of stalks appearing on the west stand yet. Worth a closer look? Malc: I am pretty sure the delay in pitch laying wasn't actually due to the pitch-side activity but the temporary self-induced safety hazard risk bottleneck at the crossroads of the area outside the 'Front of House' (the access to the Pitch Tunnel) due to the installation of the north perimeter walls, posts and tarmacing. I'm happy to be proven wrong but I don't think that the pitch-side activities and the pitch itself have been totally inter-dependent and were able to carry on alongside each other, theoretically. Hi Nick. It's been weeks since I last came on here. It's not that I don't like the site (I think it's been my "go to" site for viewing how Bramley Moor has come along) it's just that I prefer to see the progress in blocks and not creeping along. There's a question I'd like to ask about the large entrance area on the east side? The side where the old tower is. Looking down at the massive area I noticed lines similar to what represents rail tracks (1:45). It's just the way they are incorporated into the floor design that they hint at rail tracks running parallel then branching off. Is this just an illusion in my head or a deliberate design feature. If it's the latter it's very eye catching and a tip of the cap to the areas former use.

@DuncTheBlue1878Ай бұрын
Fan buses won’t be allowed in - they’ll have to park on designated streets to the north east of the stadium. Team buses will drive in and out via the north access road. Emergency vehicles can use the south access route or north.
@davidbadcock2225Ай бұрын
Broadly-speaking and in principle, yes. The only coaches permitted access will be the Players' coaches, about 2 hours either side of the match. There will be limited, select, authorised vehicle movements within 2 hours either side of the match and NO vehicle movements at all one hour either side of the match. All other vehicles will have had to enter or exit outside of those times. The only vehicles that will be allowed to move in that window are Emergency Vehicles and IF there was a demand, they'd decide if the North circuit were suitable OR whether also to allow passage out through the retractable bollards at the SE corner of the site at the Tower Gates. Only the Waste Lorries picking up waste from multiple pick-up points around the stadium will be expected to use the 'circular route' but again, not in the restricted four-hours outside of the match time.

However, in the approved plans, the windows are allocated for Illuminated Signage, so it's still possible that there will be some form of signs. It is, I suspect, what the White Bar is for along the bottom edge of the South Window, made from the same material as the poles installed to the bottom edge of the barrel-cladding. My guess is that it could be provision for lighting, whether LED's or Lazers, which might even result in a Lumiere format. The barrel-cladding and the facades all have provision for Branding by Illuminated Signage too, so it's much a case of waiting to find out what EFC decide in the customisation phase, especially as any potential Naming Rights Sponsor would have to be swayed by the secret plans.
