NEW EXO Cares Initiative Event in Astroneer

This little event was nice I haven't ever really tried to automate for these things so after a little bit of effort all I had to do was stand there and press the button

I too love the charity events. Suffice it to say, once I'm done with this event, Desolo will no longer be Desolo.

Normal 4 hours drivivg around sylva with a rover train packing tops and old rovers. They didn't even make the flowers go into a canister and the exo platform still is not able to bne automated. My guess never will. Thx for sharing and letting us know. I finished and kept getting 2 of 5, relogged and the event was broken "inactive" relogged again and got the other 3..... SES normal

I *finally* got all five, but it took over 140,000 event points to get there.

I've been trying, so far in vain, to get 1/5 in my main save. I have it in an older save, but I cannot get it to reappear in my main save so far. I do, however, have 48 duplicates of 2, 3, & 4. So... best of luck getting all of the discs! Don't use multiple saves for that part of the event like I did if you want to increase your odds of having a complete set in a single place!

not sure what I'll do but I'd like to ask you something, what did you think about the water test they posted a vide of? do you think it's prep work for a sequel game or something they could be adding to this game? like some sort of massive change to one of the planets.

with the terrain and terraforming in Astroneer, I doubt any liquids would ever work. since you can literally dig a hole through any given planet, the game would need to do some huuuuuuuuuuge calculations anytime terrain under a liquid was manipulated. It was probably just a test.

@@jakstrieder I have no idea :) they are definitely working on a new game, but they haven't said if it's another Astroneer title or even related. But game devs try out new features all the time that never make it into games.

@@VaingloriousGaming if it was in A then it could be just a planet of water that you can't land on till you build a special lander that like your first base will ether expand it's self or freeze water around it into a ice based island to build from. although I haven't finished the game (so to speak) and opened the gate way on the xeno platform in space hehe I would like to see them do a sequel game with more then one solar-system with a ship/station building mechanic.

How can I find the medium debri canister¿¿¿

there is a medium resource canister, medium gas canister, and medium fluid & soil canister, but there is not a medium debris canister. The others are unlocked in the research catalog (second tab), and printed on the small printer.

pick up small pieces of debris and store them in your backpack; they automatically collect into debris bundles.

my studio setup or my Astroneer save? I have one planned, though I have one more project in the studio I need to complete before that happens. If you mean the Astroneer save, it was built over several months of livestreams and would take a LONNNNNNG video to tour. Prolly best to hit up my 2nd channel and watch the VODs :)

in the game as a whole or for the event itself? I find Astroneer to have a HUGE amount of replayability.
