EXO has been blowing me away since I first heard "Groove" off the Obsession album; it's a jazzy upbeat song. "Jekyll" from the same album is incredible as well but it's a totally opposite vibe. that's why i like EXO. their music is nostalgic. the usual ones that do adlibs are the main vocals: Chen, Baekhyun & D.O. but the other members does it as well. the ones who are doing back up vocals mostly are Chen & Baek. these lyric guides are not really that perfect they usually get mixed up on who's really singing. but the more you listen to them, you'll be able to pick who's who. pls more album listen. maybe do Obsession next? if you like a more chill vibe songs, you can check out the Universe album. have fun w/ your EXO journey! there's still sub-units & solos to check out too!

EXO doesn't have a bad song. most exo-Ls hardly pick a title track for their favorite in any of their albums -- the gems are really in the b-sides. and ask any exol-L which is their favorite song and you'd hardly get an answer because all their songs are really good. as heard in their killing voice, their songs are as old as 11 years old but stll slap. Timeless. thank you for the album review. so glad you liked all the tracks. My top favoriteS are No Make Up and Private Party but still, the rest are still a favorite because you can never go wrong with EXO vocals + excellent production, right? 😉 PS i also grew up listening to Tears for Fears, my favorites being Mad World, Woman in Chains and Pale Shelter 😊

Be wary of lyric videos some content creators are too eager to post it quickly to get the most views, but there are many errors on who sings what line. Should be a good test for you as a new fan - spot the errors and identify who sings the background harmonies 😂 PS: EXO just posted new content today! What a great way to start my morning off.....this album is signature Exo sound. It's not too crazy, it can be a jam to listen to when I'm busy in the kitchen....vocals twist my heart in a bunch, this is easy listening. Dreamcather and Mamamoo are signature sounds as well, always makes me so hyped, they sound amazing. But thank you for checking out Exist, I like all the songs, but besides Regret It and Cinderella, the 3 pre released song Let Me In, Hear Me Out and Cream Soda are my absolute favorites! I want you to check out baby Exo, from way back, What Is Love and History mvs. But Tempo is a staple from the discography. And beautiful slow songs like Sing For You, Miracles In December and For Life mvs. And a great bonus : "Wait" lyric video is harmony heaven. All these 4 songs are off Winter albums, so at Christmas time, so great to listen to. No raps in these, they are vocals galore. I love Exist, I found a dynamic album that showed all the colors of EXO's voices... the rappers sing and gave the album a very interesting and bright movement... in all the songs we notice a change in rhythm that only those who know a lot does it without getting lost and without making the music lose its personality... EXO always knows how to do it. all the voices shine... i thought it was very contemporary, but with EXO's personality imprinted on it.. kind of daring i think... my favorite is still Another Day, it has a jazzy feel to it that really got to me (Kyungsoo (D.O. ) sings a lot even has some gospel-like parts very very very good)... welcome to this journey with EXO, if you listen to EXO albums, the b-sides ALWAYS swallow you up 😉.. see videos of the shows on Japan and Seoul are something INCREDIBLE.. a dream: to be there

Another NON-SKIP album * Chef's Kiss * You will never be disappointed, in EXO we trust. Their vocals, visuals, and everything are heaven-sent. They got it all. Even the video lyrics got many mistakes most of the time because they had so many layers with their vocals that people get confused and don't know who's who, even seasoned fans get wrong from time to time if you don't listen very well. You can start with their pre-debut mvs such as What is Love and History. Let me tell, young Exo were no joke. They literally started the "concept" theme in mv and they also started 3rd generation with their debut song Mama (by the way check this one out with both Exo-K and Exo-M versions). Exo initially started out as subunits called Exo-K and Exo-M with 12 members. Their mv Mama along with History, explains their origin story. In their concept Exo are basically aliens from another planet called the Exo Planet and they have powers while they continuously fight in each of their mv with Red Force, the main antagonist (red force can be in any form in Exo mvs), in Cream Soda the main soda that we're talking about is a secret weapon (drug) used by Red Force to control Exo.

Happy to see you get started on your journey. As many have said, I really don’t think Exo has a bad song. This album is a no skip and the songs are so hard to choose from. But my favorites are Another Day, Private Party, Let Me In and Cinderella. I swear this has changed with each listen. Let Me In is my comfort song and may end up my number 1 next week 😂

It's honestly so hard to pick a favorite off each album or out of their entire discography cuz EXO only has hit after hit after hit 😂 but there's always those few songs that you just leave on repeat cuz of how addictive they are and from this album alone for me its "No Makeup". Oh my gosh, your mention of Tears for Fears brought me right back to childhood! You are very correct about their bridges. SM groups in general are known to have really beautiful bridges and it is definitely a signature for EXO too. I especially love how their voices blend and layer. I have no idea which songs will stay my fav from this album but Cinderella and No Makeup are right at the top for me lately. But every time I come back to an EXO album, especially one I haven't listened to all the way through in awhile, I find new things to love. Looking forward to your next album listen :)

Pronunciation Tips: Most Korean names (first names) are 2 syllables, so most Kpop Idols who have Korean names are pretty easy to say once you separate them into the syllables. So Dreamcatcher for example (based on the Korean spelling): Siyeon (She-yeon) or Gahyeon (Ga-hyeon). In EXO: Sehun (Se-hoon), Chanyeol (Chan-yeol), Baekhyun (Baek-hyun), and Suho (Su-ho). Stage names are all over the place so unfortunately you just have to learn them. Remaining members are Xiumin (shoe-min), D.O (Dee-oh), Chen, Kai, and Lay. Side note: I would learn their voices by watching live performances, lyrics videos are never 100% correct (Private Party was really inaccurate here).

Your enthusiasm is so wholesome and infectious. 😊 It’s been hard to enjoy Exist listening parties because for some reason the lyric videos have been especially bad this time around about assigning lyrics to the correct members. This Private Party version was particularly egregious, so I was relieved to see you were mostly vibing out and missing the mistakes. I feel bad for new exo-ls like you who are trying to learn members faces and voices when these are so wrong. 😕 Side note! in my opinion, EXIST production is not as striking as the other previous exo albums (You'll get what i said when u listen to their other albums). this album is created specifically to flex their vocals and melodic rap tbh. nevertheless, it's a NO SKIP album by exo. LIKE USUAL.
