Thank you so much for reacting to, loving and appreciating Suho. He is my favorite EXO member. His voice always evokes emotion from me. I think I saw in an interview that suho said he got really emotional while recording this song. He’s announced a Europe tour with concerts in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin, and Warsaw. I wish I could go.

I agree. Suho is the most emotional vocalist in his group. I recommend you to check out his musical theater work in Mozart, The Man Who Laughs and The Last Kiss. I hope that he performs Bear Hug during his solo concerts this weekend.

Didn't think this was a song you needed in your life, right Ross? Regardless of being in Korean, didn't it make your heart soar as it progressed? Knowing your taste and how you adore atmosphere, when I saw you hearing this song just now I said to myself "oh dear god, he's doing "Bear Hug", are you kidding me?" A song I would think you would never come across like "Decanting", but only wished you would hear, well, here's my wish...thanks Ross, or thanks to Minya who requested it. Being a lifelong Exol, I say I am unfortunately biased in my taste of music, and loving the sound of all Exo member's different voices has more or less spoiled me over the years. But it, by no means, has stopped me from appreciating all that Kpop has to offer...the talent is endless and full of variety... After your "Decanting" reaction, and Lay's "Flying Apsaras" dance reaction, for some reason, I thought of Suho's "Bear Hug" just as my own notion of atmospheric feel... As an Exol, and as fans are of their favs....after Suho returned from the military, we Exol tend to dote on each member's return, anticipating their return to music...I mean, we are WAITING 18 months to hear their voices again! Suho said he was writing songs in the military, crafting his thoughts at the time for when he got out.... Word of a solo album went around when he got out, so I was excited, this is his second album...his first album "Self-Portrait" he left us before he went into service, and that album was stellar. So when "Grey Suit" was released, along with 2 mvs, I sat quietly with my headphones and lyric videos pulled up for the songs I didn't know...."Morning Star" and "Decanting" blew me away...this style Suho was singing in was different, very mature, and venturing into a favorite genre of mine, Brit Pop, where within lies my love for all of George Michael's works, for years...and only until your reaction to "Decanting" did I actually think about George Michael. But "Bear Hug" came into my headphones, and I swear, on the chorus, when he sang high, and the bass thud into my ears, I just closed my eyes with my arms stretched out to the sky, riding that feeling, I soared Ross, I wanted to cry but was so overjoyed with the sound instead...Am I crazy? Well, that was a long explanation to tell you how this song made me feel. And I'm so glad to see you may have felt the same as I. Thanks for the reaction Ross. 💙🌺

Actually, I like the Grey Suit album in its entirety but my favourite is Decanting. However, Bear Hug is also a standout - the lyrics are so expressive & Suho's voice - OMG! - what a gem! Thank you for liking Suho. I like him too so so so much! (Pls check Suho's OSTs esp the latest he did, Love You More Gradually.)
