Well this guide is a little outdated. As you know he has solo projects now, two mini albums. A new drama (Bad Prosecutor) and movie (The Moon). He’s also gotten LASIK now, so now he doesn’t have bad eyesight or wears glasses anymore. Recently, he’s also been growing his hair (which is quite long now) instead of his prominent short cut that he’s known for, and plans to keep growing it. He’s now also left SM as a solo artist, but not EXO. His solo activities will now be under his own company, but will maintain his group activities under SM. He actually now does have an instagram. He’s also been more vocal, extroverted and all around more expressive these days, you can tell he’s really happy and content with life right now!

Just an update because the guide is old: - he had lasik surgery and he can see us all clearly now 😂 - he just opened an instagram account right before the launch of Exo exist album 😂 - he has two mini albums, Empathy and Expectation. No live performances and not much content around the first album Empathy as it was during the pandemic, but still a commercial success. - Expectation album on the other hand debuted #1 on iTunes worldwide albums and went #1 iTunes in 42 countries and Somebody debuted at #7 on iTunes. Also #1 on QQ music digital album sales (the largest platform in China with more users than spotify worldwide) and all the songs on the album charted in South Korea - he starred in a big budget scifi movie The Moon released this year and he has already been racking up acting awards nominations for it - he created huge news and trended worldwide just a few days ago because it was announced that he started his own company with a long-time manager, also named Kyungsoo (Nam Kyungsoo). Company is named SooSoo 😊 he will do all his solo activities through his own agency, but he will still continue to do Exo activities through their old agency SM entertainment. - Exo is the kpop group with the highest est net worth in the world (~US$1B more than bts and blackpink combined net worths). They have such a massive impact on the kpop industry that any news related to Exo causes their company stocks to rise or drop (mind you this is a multi billion dollar company one of the largest entertainment companies in Asia). News of D.O. Leaving SM actually caused not just SM shares to drop, but other kpop agencies stocks as well. - he is not the typical “idol-turned -actor” who just gets casted because of popularity and looks. He is a serious actor that has been nominated and has won the most prestigious acting awards in South Korea and is often praised by directors and renowned actors in the industry PS the song you asked about is What if, maybe you heard it at the end of Acoustic medley + what if performance. Fabulous reaction. I agree that there is something very special about D.O/Do Kyung Soo. Everything that I have seen and/or heard from or about him illustrates how incredibly talented he is, in whatever endeavor he pursues. He is first, and foremost, very authentic and diligent. He works very hard to hone his crafts and is not afraid to face difficulties. As an entertainer, he is constantly exposed to the public and has to deal with the celebrity expectations; however, he does not pander to becoming a fake persona. He cherishes his friends, family, and colleagues. He is known for being humble, polite, and appreciative of the managers, staff, and support groups that facilitate his career. His ability to stay grounded, within this chaotic environment, is a tribute to the core foundation of his values. I believe that this is one of the reasons he is so respected in the industry.

Totally agree and well said. He's also playful and ---somewhat tolerates--playfulness/raucous behaviour from his hyungs---by standing his ground---either with "the look" or reprimanding force. It would be phenomenal if he could produce an album showcasing R & B, similar to "TELL ME WHAT IS LOVE" , ETC. I found an album on SPOTIFY by Yoo Young Jin that showcased his voice. WOW!

One of things that I love now is that Kyungsoo has become such a great actor, that you now begin to see people enter the fandom who primarily know him from his acting. So now there's this, "Wait! He's an idol?! He can sing?! He's in EXO?!" factor that greatly amuses me lol. Kinda like a few years ago when Vincenzo was the big drama and everyone discovered Taecyeon is in 2PM

Don't be sorry for talking about yourself! It's honestly beautiful to see that the members are able to speak to you on a deeper level. Ofc we're all here for their amazing talent and vocals, but all of them are so much more than that and except for the usual 'they are humble and respectful', not a lot of the reactors dive that deep into their personalities. So thank you so much for that and for sharing a bit of yourself as well!

When you hear the EXO members singing that Spanish song in Mexico with Chanyeol playing the guitar, they are not singing a Latin Kpop song. They are singing a cover of a Spanish song in the country's native language for their Mexican fans who are in the audience. It's just a Spanish song. None of that song is ever in Korean so it has nothing to do with Kpop. When Kpop artists hold concerts or performances in another country they almost always learn at least one popular song in that country's native language in order to perform it for their fans.

The song you heard in the background and recognized was What If from Acoustic Session which you have seen before. D.O. has a great voice. And he has received the most actor awards. Through watching 100 Days My Prince, I came across this young man, DOH KYUNGSOO. That was a year and a half ago. I fell in love w/it. I researched him, discovering my first KPOP group, EXO. Was enthralled w/their talent, vocals, personalities. Impressed w/D.O.'s acting talent, intense expressions in his various characterizations. Became immersed in Chen's, Suho's, Baekhyun's, Xiumin's powerful voices (Really, I Didn't Know 2013) gives me goosebumps, DO's voice is amazing. As you said, all members are talented. ALL. CHANYEOL, SEHUN, LAY---as well as LUHAN, Z TAO. THANK YOU, Mr. Ross, for opening my ears in picking out subtle nuances, production, etc, that I missed. His personality and character is my favorite out of the exo members, even though Baekhyun is my bias. There's just something about his honest, simple and calm swlf that pulls me unto him. Plus his voice is the most attractive tone I love. Es el mejor actor, de verdad, si tienes la oportunidad ve la película Swing Kids, donde baila tap. The song that was playing in the background of D.O.'s guide, yet again is "What If," which you have obsessed over in all of the EXO guides and you have also heard EXO perform the whole song during the acoustic medley concert performance you reacted to. "What If" is the very last song they perform in that reaction video. The fact that you STILL don't know the name of the song or can't instantly recognize it totally surprises me. How many times are we going to tell you before you know the song? hahaha ;)
